PBF my dude, But he would break both his hands and wrist before he knocks Margo out. It would be a stinker like the Baldomir fight excepth margo would have more moments then "Baltazaar"

    1. Margarito doesnt know what tired is
    2. Do you really think Floyd will walk him down? Marg has taken shots from harder punchers.

Foot work IS the key. If you keep him in the middle of the ring and turn him while attacking he is clueless. But "pretty Boy" being such a tremendous fighter on the backfoot could also use margo's come forward momentum against him.

People dont realize how big marg was for a WW. It takes a lot to discourage this guy.

I don't even think a sucker punch from floyd would stop margo. Not only does he have hands of stone he also has chin of stone and now eye of stone

"HARDER PUNCHERS" does not matter-FLOYD WILL FIND HE CAN LAND VERY EASILY-

Tony uses his chin, literally, to take punches and get in-HE DOES NOT USE HIS MITS VERY OFTEN, NOR WAS HE EVER TAUGHT "NOT TO CROSS YOUR FEET"...HE WILL GET HIT SO MANY TIMES HIS WILL WON'T BE MUCH OF ANYTHING..

U say "look how hard it is for fighters to discourage Tony" yet its been done-

ITS HARDER FOR FIGHTERS TO DISCOURAGE FLOYD-FLOYD IS A SHARP SHOOTER AND TONY WOULD BE OPEN WAY TOO MUCH.

TONY IS A MAN PEOPLE-HE HAS FLESH AND BONE AND HE CAN BE WOBBLED IF HIT IN THE RIGHT SPOT ENOUGH TIMES.

no chance pac hit him with 470 clean punches, floyd would land at most 300, he has less power also

  11. Definately would have done, margarito trained like an idiot for this fight and was very weight drained he looked frail and week.
EDIT: Im saying floyd replacing mosley that night the result would have been the same, a not so drained marg for example the one who fought pac i dont see floyd stopping him.

Better chance of Margarito stopping Floyd than Floyd stopping Margarito.

Not a chance. He wouldn't even look to try and knock him out and he don't have one punch KO power at that weight and age. He would fight Margo similar to how he fought Baldomir. Land at will with pot shots, make Margo look slow and like he is standing in cement. He would have Margo walking into shots all night long, turning him and tagging him all night long.

Pre Mosley, Margarito mentally and physically would be able too. Post Mosley, IMO Floyd has only gotten stronger and more accustomed to the 147 limit and Margarito's iron chin has been cracked. I'm not sure if Floyd reached the punching power Mosley had at the time I highly doubt it as Mosley opens up much more than Floyd for his shots due to his offensive style, but after a sustained attack of bodyshots and very clean shots, maybe not a knockout, but a stoppage is very possible late in the fight. If it's the more aggressive Floyd that fought Ortiz, could happen, even though there is the possibility Floyd won't take as many chances with a more seasoned fighter like Margarito.
