122 MAB, 126 Pac and Pac wins every weightclass north of FW too.

imho. Marco had great power, speed and passion at 122, and Pac, although he was a badass below FW didn't really mature into anything near what he is now until he started moving up in weight. He got better with every weight jump from 122 to 140. Marco had already had a pretty long and accomplished career before moving to FW and imho was a half step off his best.

He had just dropped his promoter, who immediately went to the press with the news that MAB had a metal plate, so MAB had to get that cleared before he could fight. He also got burned out of his camp. Everything surrounding that fight and that time period was a debacle for MAB and if you're gonna get in the ring with Pacquiao, you need to be 100%. He wasn't.

I could see Pacquiao winning a decision while dropping some rounds and eating some leather as Barrera tries to whip out his picture-perfect Hamed gameplaan; jab while stepping leftwards fluidly, counter over the southpaw jab with a left hook, and follow up up with combinations to the head and body.

I agree, but MAB was not a better fighter in 95-96 than he was in 01-03.

This makes no sense. They did fight, Pacquiao won easily.

    Next.

people forgot that pacquaio back then @ featherwts was still a raw fighter. Pacquaio's peak started @ super featherwts onwards. Raw pacquaio beat the prime barrera. What could a prime pacquaio do to barrera? Just imagine the pacquiao that fought diaz or morales III for that matter?

Pac vs barrera @ 122 would have been an interesting question.

Pacquaio's style was to Barrera what Marquez' is to Pacquaio.
Shouldn't affect Barrera's achievements just like it shouldn't affect Pacquaio's.

:patsch This makes no sense whatsoever.

Pacquiao is 2-0-1 vs Marquez, and all three have been extremely close fights.

Pacquiao is 2-0 vs Barrera, and neither fight was remotely close.

Pacquiao-Marquez is more like Morales-Barrera in that the fights are always close, while Pacquiao-Barrera is more like Winky-Mosley where the fights aren't close.

Reasonable people can disagree on this one.
