Frank bruno destroys both if he has a decent training regime.

Griffith fought the better fighters but there is a lot of controversy surrounding his reign...Whereas there is almost none with Jose's dominant reign.

Jose also probably had optimal muscle glycogen levels compared to Emile.

Griffith. He fought everybody. Then again he didn't beat everybody either.

Hey, don't diss Yama Bahama, PP :fire

The real question would be; LMR or Napoles IMO :good

On paper, Griffith by a huge margin.

In reality, a much tougher question. Taking away the Rodriguez wins and perhaps the first Ortega and Fernandez wins (does the latter count as a welter bout?), it's more questionable.

Yama Bahama was the ****en man. He'd own the middleweight and jnr middleweight divisions today with ease.

Napoles was more dominant, Griffith had a better era but was inconsistent at times and wasn't clearly the best Welterweight.

Based on resume at Welterweight I give a slight edge to Napoles.
