    What would be the point?

I can't see a coach wasting his time watching you spar when he has fighters to train.

viper, at your age you should consider amateur if you love the sport. I wish I would have started when I was young.

we have white collar fights for our gym and people are welcome to spar and train for them! I used to spar loads and not make any promises about fighting and always got good advice and time spent.

however i could fully understand if you dont want to fight then coaches only have so many hours in the day and at the end of the day that is the whole point of the sport

to the original poster just go it will be the best thing you ever did, and everyone i know that came to our gym saying the just wanted to train and spar soon changed their mind and were looking for their first fight its just a natural progression!
