Jorge Ahumada vs. Yaqui Lopez

    Two great fighters who could have been champs in other eras.
    Jorge fought Victor 5 times, winning one in Victor's wheel house of prime, fought Foster to a draw, gave Conte one hell of a scrap in England in the WBC run-off, we all know Yaqui''s heart and effort in his wars.
    Would have loved to have been ringside for this battle; may the best man win;any thoughts?

    I would favor Ahumada in a really tough bout. I thought Jorge was royally screwed over in the Foster bout...and that was basically his last hurrah, IMo. He lost to the two best lightheavies in the world after that, and I don't think Lopez ranked with Conteh and Galindez.

    I thought Ahumada won the Foster fight....and should have got the nod in one more of the Galindez fights.
