I'm happy to say 'slightly above average' Scott :good

Vitali; now there's a guy who I've seen overrated power wise.

Wlad hits well when he throws his left hook (Austin, Chambers) but I still can't forget him throwing the kitchen sink at a shot Rahman and needing many, many shots to finish him.

Knocking down Ruiz. Staggering Valuev. Knocking out Barrett. All something very few have done so above average. In fact every opponent at Heavyweight he's hit, he's put under more trouble than the vast majority of their opponents. Hence above average.

Both Klits do have overrated power, Vitali moreso than wlad, Vit is basically an accumilation puncher, i'd say even Haye has more one shot power than him

Problem with Haye is you rarely see him land more than 1 or 2 flush shots at a time, if you look at guys with fearsome rep like Tyson or even Tua they often landed 4-5-6-7 punches flush at a time leading to the ko, i defy anyone to tell me who could take 6 flush punches in a row from David Haye? it doesnt happen though because haye only potshots, but not using his power properly doesnt mean he doesnt have it haha

Maidana is one of the few decent shouts here but even then he's still a decent puncher. But decent is about it and I don't think he's even rated as much of a puncher anymore to be honest. It's been proven in about half a dozen fights against even very fringe world level fighters that apart from Khan he hasn't really got close to stopping.

People look at pointless records way too much. Like how Breidis Prescott had 17 out of 19 knockouts or whatever, all against bums, before he stopped Khan. He then takes Amir out in a round and suddenly he can throw dynamite with a jab.

I didn't mean I thought donaire or Martinez were overrated I meant were they power punchers or concussive punchers obviously they are both bangers. My bad I didn't really word it properly

    1. Like I said. Ruiz was shot, and did not have a win against good comp for 6 years. A shot Golota knocked down Ruiz.... Golota never had good power

    2. Who has Valuev fought that had good power? He got a gift decision against an ancient Holyfeild for ****s sake :blood.... Are you really trying to say that Valuev was "in trouble" from that shot? He was surprised when he walked into a shot he did not see..... If Haye had good power, he would have at least knocked him down

    3. Barret got tkoed in 2 by some no name called Cliff Crouser....

    4. He hit Wlad with good rights...... What happened there? Wlad has been kd'd when opponents with Above Average power hit him with decent punches..... What happend when Haye hit him?

Haye has average power with amazing speed and countering abilities....

I have him ranked at number 4 or 5 at heavy currently
