I think you should listen to your doctor. 2 months goes by quickly. - But what the heck, go for it! Maybe you should use this bout to work on your defense & counterpunching, so you don't use the bad hand as much?
Sounds gay to me. I'm trying to envision Michael Buffer doing the introduction: "Fighting out of the blue corner, wearing the silver trunks with the silver trim, the fighter who never gets ring rust, Chrissss SSSSStainless SSSSteel!" It just doesn't work. Maybe we should put it to a vote?
Same here. :yep I've seen your fights on youtube, there's definitely a bit of Hearns about you with that stance and that jab!
Chris: You seem like a nice fellow. So RE your hand, here goes. Look into Trigger Point work, and/or acupuncture/acupressure. And perhaps first see if you can find something from Applied Kinesiology: There are the amazing "hand gait reflexes" that may help re-set imbalances in the hand. If you cannot find that online, PM me and I will tell you where these reflexes on the hand are. They are great not just for your injury, but the hands and arms sure do get tired during fighting/sparring/heavy bag etc. These reflex points are great in returning energy to your hands and arms.
Mate you are a lifesaver i never even thought about that the physio i go to happens to be one of about 20 kinesiology experts in the world ive got an appointment with him tommorow hopefully he can fix it
The ultimate compliment for someone who loves Hearns, would love to meet him someday. Ive been working on getting the same leverage behind my punches that Tommy has so i can start getting those knockouts!
When I had to choose the nickname to apply for a license it was between Stainless, Real Deal or The Hitman. Someone once told me to avoid stepping into a great man's shoes so I went for one nobodys used before
