not very good. he was more active, but, haye was less active. he had a very hard time connecting on haye since haye was on the defensive most of the nite. but then again it is very hard to look good against someone who is just trying to survive the 12 rounds

The entertainment value wasn't high but Wlad got the job done.

It would have been far more exciting if Wlad wasn't such a good sport. He was clearly being considerate of David's debilitating injury:blood

Haye was happier to humiliate himself then try to make it a fight, flopping all over the place and burying his face in Wlad's crotch rather than engage.

Wlad had a dominant win against a guy who refused to fight, that isn't easy to do.

He did what he was supposed to. Haye ran like a little girl. I have heard Hayetards recently bragging about Hayes "defense" for this fight, well its easy to not get hit when you run. He was a pretty good runner for someone having a broken toe though.

Wlad swept him 12-0 for rounds, he wanted the knockout but it didnt come. Haye didnt even try to win, he just tried to make it to the final bell, after talking **** for what 3 years about how he was going to KO wlad.

    :huh

I would say it's easier to do. The spectacular KO might not come, but a dominant win is almost assured against an opponent who doesn't want to fight (Pac-Clottey).

  8. he could have KO'd him various times. George Foreman or Sonny Liston would have gotten even the most elusive fighter.

He got the job done, nothing more.
He won the fight, but he had a platform to win peoples hearts and minds, to do that he had to become more aggressive and push out of his comfort zone, he didn't.

6/7 out of 10. Wlad fought well, but he really should've stopped Haye. He had a cruiserweight, with his hands down in front of him.

Entertainment: 7/10 (it was Haye who gets a 1/10 here)

What needs to be done: 9/10

    7 or 8 outta 10

sure it wasnt pretty but he got it done

won every round but the bs docking he got

he also was very hard to hit for a guy deemed too fast and his footwork was great

the jab was dominant and he also unbelievably and to the surprise of many took Haye's best right hand no problem

he proved his speed foot work chin and jab all in one fight as he dominated his biggest threat

sure it would have been great to see Wlad open up more and get the KO but he was winning every round and out of danger Haye took no risks

my only criticism is there were times where he made Haye miss bad and did not make him pay

This is probably what Wlad thinks himself.

I cant blame him for playing it safe though. Assume he would have opened up and been KO'd. He and us would have to hear Haye brag about it for the rest of our earthly existence. :scaredas:

And whats up with Wlads defence? He was all head movement and footwork. Haye could hardly touch him for the bigger part of the fight. Did someone hypnotise Wlad to believe he was black before he stepped into the ring?
