must just be here we get the dickhead mentality, I go to boxing to see fighting done properly by professionals in the ring, not some fat dickheads with stone island coats on and 6 pints of stella down them.
Don’t worry, there are still lots of boozed up twats who go to the fights in Northern Ireland – it’s just that they’re not sectarian with it!
The crowd Fury brought with him to the Kings Hall were obviously travellers and of a different ethnic background to Rogan supporters who in the main would be nationalists from the working class areas of Belfast. I would imagine a fair amount of trouble could arise from these two groups if Rogan and Fury ever boxed each other in Belfast. There were times at Furys Kings Hall show when the travellers were testing the patience of the local Belfast fight fan with their overbearing behaviour. I agree with most of this post, but one exception I can think about was Davey Larmour v Hugh Russell [ for the British Bantamweight title]. I was at that fight in the early 80s, Russell from the Republican New Lodge area and Larmour from the Loyalist Shankill Rd. Sectarian fist fights broke out throughout the Kings Hall that night, luckily it was one against one in most instances so a full blown riot didn't ensue. I remember in one instance walking up the stairs towards the balcony and two guys were rolling down the stairs towards me in a tussell. My older brother pushed me aside [I was only a young lad still at school then] to avoid the entangled pair, it seemed like funny stuff at the time and didn't seem out of the ordinary in the volient society we lived in. I suppose in a perverse way a republican and a loyalist settling their differences in a fist fight was a move forward, as opposed to them shooting each other. BTW the fight was a classic, in Larmour winning a bloodbath on points. Both boxers left the ring to great applause, and a few months later Larmour [ who was guest of honour] presented me with a trophy for a contest in the Republican west of the city [a treasured memory:yep]
fury is a pretender. alex leapai would decapitate the pommy pretender. thats why his manager mick hennesy wont answer team leapais emails or phone calls. now, alex is rated 5 in the commonwealth. an aussie hasnt been given a shot at the commonwealth heavy title for over 20 years. looking at most commonwealth title holders, they are poms or british. the reason being, is that the rest of the commonwealth talent is excluded from fighting for these titles. it is the only way that british boxing can be relevant to itself. why else would the commonwealth authority deny alex a shot at fury also? he has beaten 2 of the commonwealths top 20 heavies. both times the commonwealth refused to sanction the fights as commonwealth eliminators. obviously they are trying to protect their own. its a ****ing disgrace. leapai would decapitate fury. a fact that the establishment knows. so does fury and his manager, hennesy, who hide behind the skirts of authority. tyson fury may be a pommy favourite, but only because the bum is spoon fed and protected. the commonwealth body should be ashamed of themselves, and so should fury for refusing to answer emails, and phone calls.
this monster...and hes coming to launch tyson furys head into the cheap seats... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvMvR9W9BFw[/ame] go to 7.40 of the 2nd vid.... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IeZy4H3v6Tk[/ame]

I had a dream last night that Clarence Seedorf moved in with my mother(despite the fact she still lives with[and married to] my dad). I was gutted when I woke up and it wasn't true.
Don't worry, I know who Leapai is... However, I'm very much in the minority in the UK when it comes to knowing who he is. Leapai, as you say, is dangerous. So, why would fat Mick bring him over when he can get the likes of Pajkic (who, with an undefeated record, is an easier sell to casual's) and Firtha instead and bring in similar viewing figures?
um...because a belt isnt a right, its a privilage. the governing body should give fighters all round the commonwealth the opportunity to fight for a belt. not just for the british. i can understand that fury is terrorfied of alex, but at some point, boxing should be about giving fighters their shot at it. furys manager cant be allowed to pick bums, when there are fighters all round the commonwealth that deserve a shot.
Bring him over, probably be like when they bought that terrifying meehan over to face danny williams [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozA65ZmFJbE[/ame]
