It's Clear Why The Mayweather - Pacquiao Fight hasn't happened, it's Bob Arum - Ariza

When Roger Mayweather comes out saying that Floyd is holding up the fight it will be as big of a bombshell as this.

This is a person from Pac's inner circle saying he truly believes that Mayweather wants the fight, and Arum has ALWAYS been the one holding it up. To deny the significance of this information given it's source is bull****.

Again, pro Floyd fans have had their suspisions confirmed by a Pac team insider. Your assertion that Floyd has held up the fight as much as Arum, is conjecture without any insider on Floyd's team supporting it.

Finally, I feel this interview sheds light on why fights between Floyd and Cotto and Margarito never happened.

Well, Ariza talks about Arum refusing to negotiate with Floyd because he hates him. I think is signiicant in understanding why the Margarito and Cotto fights never happened.

Also, What do the two ugly white girls in your post have to do with anything? They look like they want a dick to suck. Your sisters?

The girls are laughing. Take a guess why.

Ariza is giving his opinion. And it is the opinion of a conditioning coach, not a promoter, not a lawyer, not a matchmaker, not Pacquiao's assistant.

Ariza is a self-interested individual. You think he's saying this stuff for the "good of Manny?"

Ariza is the most recent link to Team Pac, the Johnny-Come-Lately of the group. Roach has been there since 2001. Koncz since like 2004. Arum since 2006.

Ariza would not be someone whom I would trust to know much about anything, except conditioning. And I'm not even sure about that, since Pac is having cramp issues again.

I think Ariza said Pacquiao had his best camp ever before JMM III. Then after the fight, Ariza said Pac didn't work hard enough.

    :rofl

Fair enough. I can respect your opinion, as it is reasonable.

However, and this cannot be denied, Ariza is echoing suspisions folks have had about Arum for quite a while. Regardless of how long Ariza has been on the team he is an insider. It sees irrational to simply ignore what he is saying.

I still don't get the ugly white girls picture though, it looks more like they are flirting with me than laughing at me. If you have to explain a visual joke, it was a fail. Dummy.

There's more going on here, in my opinion, than what it seems. That's the easiest way I can say it.

Why does Alex Ariza care who Pacquiao fights? Why don't we hear him talking about how he's going to fix Pacquiao's leg cramps? Why, instead, is he apparently trying to act as Pacquiao's promoter when Pacquiao already has a promoter?

Ask yourself these questions. Then I think you might get closer to what a lot of this is about, in my opinion.

Ariza is a conditioning coach. Have you ever heard a conditioning coach take this kind of strident tone in any other fighter's career or affairs?

Something doesn't add up here. At least not from my vantage point.

Ariza never said anything about arum wanting Pac to leave roach for garcia, only about wanting Chavez to leave roach for garcia. Roach and Arum make many contradicting statements to the media, roach saying they want floyd next, arum saying he was "never that interested in a floyd fight" and that JMM 4 is coming first speaking for the entire team Pacquaio. Its not a big leap to think that Arum dont like roach but roach and pac are way to close for arum to drive a wedge between but chavez and roach probably not so much.

Think Ariza has some credibility too, I mean he dont exactly like the mayweathers, so its not like he is blasting Arum on their behalf.

Poor Mayweather! He is the VICTIM in all this. Bob probably raped him back in the day.

Yeah and at a big risk too because as he already said in the interview, now Arum is going to try even harder to get Pac and Chavez and whoever else to get rid of Ariza, so it doesnt exactly help his career by putting arum on blast, hes obviously frustrated at the amount of **** that goes on behind the scenes.

Pacquiao need only to utilize the boxing media if he truly wants the fight but is being railroaded by his own promoter. The facts are pretty clear cut this go around. Floyd and Ellerbe are on record wanting the fight. Arum notified the mediator that he does not intend to negotiate the fight at this time. Manny is on record wanting the fight.
They may very well run into more issues if the fight gets to the table, but Arum isn't even allowing all parties a chance to come to an agreement and Manny just refuses to dictate to him and that is a personal flaw of his.

    Could not agree more.

I called Ariza "Fredo Corleone" in another thread. I think I'll stick with that comparison for now.

    You got it all backwards.

The promoter who is "railroading" Pacquaio -- a promoter who previously was accused of making Pacquiao "broke" -- just made Pacquiao $22 million plus in his last fight. A career-high payday, I believe. And Pacquiao is in line to have had his highest-ever PPV sales.

If that's being "railroaded," sign me up.
