i think it was Haye who played it safe, and Haye who would have been KO'd if he opened up

Wlad did his thing Haye ran avoided a fight and Wlad was content to win rounds

in the 12th when Haye opened up more Wlad caught him with some good right hands

Figure you have a point there. Booth said something about Haye beeing more catious after getting tagged with a big right in the 5th or 6th.

One of Wlads sparring partners said that getting tagged by a Wlad right, even if you try and putting your guard up, feels like getting a stroke. Haye must never have experienced something like that before.

For sure the Klit brothers need someone ready to pressure them to look good like Areola-Vitali for example. After speaking so much bull**** to get on your bike is disgraceful

thats why i hated him after Valuev the im gonna KO you brutally and decapitate you then run around the ring and avoid a fight does not impress me

i remember watching the fight with my dad who doesnt know a thing about Haye but heard his quotes about how he is gonna KO him brutally and all that **** and he was like this guy had all that talk and never once went for it or tried it

the problem is the opponents get hurt and go into survival mode covering up clinching running making it hard to get KO's

Yeah but the difference is I think Haye achieved EXACTLY what him and booth had planned all along, I dont think they ever thought they could beat one of the brothers but I DO think they fought they could make a **** load of money off them and run around for 12 rounds, not get hurt and retire off into the sun.

I genuinley belive that it was mission accomplished for those greedy ****s

Yup. We have seen that the Klits can't make an impressive fight when their opponent is refusing to actually fight.

There might be fighters out there who could pick apart an opponent who is terrified and hiding and refusing to get into a fight. But the Klits don't have that ability.

Which is why we are guaranteed yet another stinker if Haye gets into the ring with Vitali.

it's going to be awkward as hell. Vitali leaning on his back foot and Haye running in the other direction...

You ought to take Hayes delusional ego into the equation. Why do you think he made a go for it in the 12th?

Before the fight Haye and Booth harped on about Wlads "mental weakness" everytime someone placed a microphone in their face. The gameplan was to land something big and after that Wladdy boy was supposed to fold like he did against Sanders. Instead Wlad did his trademark octopus routine and went back to jabbing Haye in the face.

2/10. It was only slightly less abysmal than Haye's performance which was nonexistant. Wlad gets hyped as having an ATG jab and yet he made Haye, who was actually standing immobile and in range in front of him for the majority of the fight, look like the black reincarnation of Willie Pep with it and I think we can all agree that Haye's head movement isn't that impressive. It just looked that way because the big Glass Jawed robot was actually fighting someone with a bit of athleticism rather than the fat bums he generally feasts on.

Wlad and Haye are both Glass Jawed Disgraces to boxing and I don't care about anything that either of them do unless it's committing suicide. In that case, I'd buy the PPV.

Not very impressive against a well below par Haye, won by a few rds but didn't even threaten to hurt Haye never mind give him pizza face or make him ko victim number 50.

    3-4 out of 10.
