in 60 fights the man has only lost decisively once. to mayweather.

 

1. Barrera was considered past-prime
2. Marquez was not impressive in that win and it was closer than people give credit for.

That said, Marquez resume is very solid.

JMM's lightweight reign is excellent by itself before even mentionning the Pacquiao and Barrera fights. The fact that in many fans' mnds he won all 4 fights vs these two ring legends as well makes him sure of being an ATG, along with his other great feather and superfeathweight wins.

JMM-Pacquiao III was by far the worst decision in their fights in my mind, it was a clear, wide JMM victory in my eyes.

hold up just a minute mate ..... barrera was past prime by far ... BELIEVE ME .. im hes biggest fan and i can say the only people to beat him in prime were erik morales and perhaps junior jones

pacquiao faught a past prime barrera but i give him full credit because given pac's arsenal i feel he would have always beaten barrera (though the pre jones barrera would have been a 50/50 tossup)

 

His barerra win was a good win. Assuming he got the W against PAcquiao, that'd be a great/great win.

 

jmm beat pac twice. some would argue that jmm beat him all 3 times. i would argue that pac isn't great.
