Might be a bit later to cater for the west coast TV audiences. I think :huh Now I'm confused. Trying to think of the last big fight on the east coast and what time it started.
id imagine it will be on at 10pm in Washington, so 3am here and 7pm Vegas actually ive no ****ing idea TBH atsch
But you've got to remember that it's not really the actual fight that gives boxers recognition, it's the build up... Think of the adverts he'll get in between football matches and SSN. Boxers will only become stars here by fighting on freeview or Sky. Already ******'s fighters have become forgotten.
Khan's known anyway. He won an Olympic Silver medal and was watched by 4 million for his ITV fights. I'm not sure how much the build up means if people don't then stay up to watch him.
US fights on HBO and Showtime always start between 9pm and 10.30pm EST - doesn't matter if they're taking place on the East or West coast. PPV main events start later, with the televised undercard always starting at 9pm. The Khan/Peterson HBO broadcast starts at 9.45pm ET (2.45am our time) but HBO are first showing Seth Mitchell/Timur Ibragimov. edit: Showtime actually do have later card sometimes, but that's for Shobox which usually starts at 11pm ET.
Adam Smith said over twitter it's a SkySports deal not a Box office deal, and I don't think Mayweather is even a consideration for next year. This three fight deal will surely include Brook as well if he can get the WBA belt.
