Ariza is both right and wrong. He is right about Arum and wrong about himself.

 

It's so over the top though... i dunno if he's really just flying off the handle here, but thing it is doesn't make sense... to go straight to the media and drop a bomb like this. I know he's a hothead... but he hasn't exploded like that before. It also puts him in a bind, of having to have his fighters choose him over a promoter. It's possible, that its a rehearsed smoke screen with Bob, so Bob takes the fall here and Ariza, Roach, Arum, and even Pac are all on the same page about not fighting MW. This way Bob looks like the bad guy, and Manny doesn't lose points with public and I'm guessing they think that having Bob take the fall looks better than a loss, so his candidacy and iconic status wouldn't be jeaporadized. I'm probably wrong, but it's just a thought.

 

While Ariza is a nobody at least he is looking out for Manny,unlike his dark overlord Arum who uses his pet robot Manny to do his bidding.

 

Arum is killing boxing. At Least the other promoters will agree to match their fighters, if even, only occasioanly. Arum sucks.

i just hope arum is forced to make this fight,as pac refuses to fight anyone else but floyd,and marquez wont make the fight easy to make either.

If I were to compare Ariza with any other conditioning/nutrition coach, it would be to Conte.

To me, Ariza is a lesser version of Conte. Much less, actually. But the two seem cut from the same cloth: Self-promoters who often lose sense of their place in the hierarchy. That is, they end up thinking and trying to project that they are more important than they really are.

 

really? go read the article, ariza is speaking common sense and points out the obvious, he states, directly, the floyd fight needs to come before JMM 4. That if in the event pac looses to floyd, JMM can still be made later. If pac were to loose JMM 4, then the floyd fight is way less marketable. Arum wants JMM 4 now, its not rational but its because hes a control freak and hates floyd and to hell with what is best for pac.

 

Well its looks like Ariza is not scared of what Arum may say or do to him. He kmows Arum does not want a WAR with him cause he could ruin this whole gig. He been making the PED shakes for Pac and has the leverage in the situation. Thats why he is talking so tough towards Arum. If he was just a trainer barely holding om to his job them im sure he would act like one and stay quiet. Thats not the case though.

If there are any PEDs involved with Manny which I dont believe there is but hypothetically, Not only would it damage Mannys career, it would damage the career of Khan and Chavez.

Now Chavez would be a hit to Arum but as far as Arum is concerned there is such a thing as plausible deniablility.

Pacs at the end of his career, Arum wont care once he goes. Chavez can always be carefully matched and Khan isnt with Arum.

Arizas career would be over and what would he have to show for it?
