What will the psychological effect be, on Cotto

Not in the sense that Margarito hits so hard, but in the sense that Cotto already been mentaly broken in his fight with Margarito in 2008. If Margarito lands those uppercuts and body shots again(and this time with more pressure) I think that it ends before the 10th round.

If you look at the fight of Cotto with Pac, you don't see him being totaly mental broken. But in the Margarito fight he was mentaly total broken.

I think Margo wont be able to take the same amount of punishment he took in the first fight either. Margos chin is dented and im positive he will be easier to hurt this time and Cotto can take advantage of it if he gets him hurt.

 

YoU guys make me sick that are jocking margarito and bragging about cotto being on his knees from the first fight
Its a god damn good thing the resto collins fight didn't happen this day and age cause you sick dogs would be begging for a ****ing rematch talking about how collins has a suspect chin and can't handle pressure from such a grade c level fighter

Only one problem with your 2 responses...

Cotto is 2 notches above Margo in almost every category and Margo's primary strength....punch resistance...will surely be reduced as a result of the eye injury.

 

This is the key. Junito is a clinical puncher and he will again land early and often. How Margo absorbs these blows will determine the outcome.

 

He has a world class trainer so I have to believe that Cotto has prepared for the uppercut if nothing else. He won't let that punch determine the outcome.

 

what will the psychological effect be if margo lands flush on cotto but has no effect on cotto what if he sees he cant hurt cotto without the plasters... that's the better question

See, Margaret thinks it's going to be a repeat. ..he expects to eat a lot of leather but Cotto goes out early because he will apply pressure early on.

He's gonna keep Margo in the center of the ring, sit down on his punches and wax that ass. Cotto's not gonna back up in this fight.

 

I really want cotto to win but niether men are themselves. if this handwarp **** didnt happen in their first fight it would have been a lot different.

Regardless Niether fighter have shown that they have much left, Margo fought a bum and got the **** beat out of him by Cotto and Cotto hasnt looked like himself since Pac (be it the move up in weight or Steward killing his style)

If Cotto goes back to what he did in the first fight but conserve his energy this time hell take it on points or a RTD if Margo's eye gives him trouble. If its the Cotto ive seen as of late its going to be a very close points decision either way
