How do you rate Wlad's performance against David Haye?

I also think Wlads performance was underrated, the purpose of his jab during the fight was to keep Haye off balance, even when it wasn't landing, which he did perfectly.

Exactly. People try to make out like it was a Joshua Clottey type performance. It wasn't, he was just beaten by a superior/more experienced fighter who had a perfect gameplan to capitalize on his weaknesses.

 

Wlads finest hour, his masterpiece, a career defining moment. Even with a debilitating foot injury Haye is far superior to the bums Wlads been feasting on over the years. He did well to keep an injured Haye off for 12 rounds, just lucky it didn't go 13 as David was clearly about to get him out of there.

 

9 or 10 out of 10. You can't win every round with ease and not expect to get scored so highly. It was a performance fitting of an ATG, it really sorted the man from the boy, stunning.

Wlad has previously been able to tag opponents supposed to be elusive. Like Byrd and Chambers. Do you have any opinion on why he struggled so hard landing on Haye?

That was the best Wlad fight I´ve seen. He took some punches and gave some back, he never looked hurt. Plus I was in Germany and watched the fight live in Hamburg
