I don't get why the pac fans are supposed to be stunned or taken aback by this news. Many Floyd fans have criticized pac for "ducking" mayweather. This kinda proves that Manny wasn't, in fact, "ducking."

And its not like Arum's animosity of Mayweather is a big secret, thus the news ain't that mindblowing.

* Pacquiao has had cramp issues his last two fights. Who says Ariza is good at his job?

* Strength and conditioning is not rocket science. Ariza can be easily replaced. In my opinion, Heredia (Marquez' strength and conditioning coach) CLOWNED Ariza in the last fight. Punked him.

* Ariza is becoming a liability, I feel, because he is both making himself the story and making his boss look bad. Remember, it was Ariza who said Pac had his greatest camp ever before the Marquez III fight, then came out after the fight and said Pac didn't train hard enough. Not good, and not helping to make Pac look good

In summary, Ariza appears like a guy who is out of his depth and/or perhaps has delusional visions that he is going to be a conditioning coach + trainer + promoter + manager, etc.

Yet, the one function he is hired to fulfill, conditioning Pac, has been lacking the last two fights. Or so it seems.

I do not, for one moment, think Ariza has Pac's "best interests" in mind. Although I do think Ariza may believe he does. But believing isn't the same as being the truth.

Again, to repeat: The person who is protecting Pac's best interests here is Arum. That, to me, could not be clearer in all of this gossipy prattle.
