What are the top 3 24/7 shows?

Hatton/Mayweather would have to be my favourite then I'm not sure about the other, anyway, what you got?

The two I can definitely name, are...

Oscar-Floyd Ep. 1 – Unprecedented and powerfully captivating. Watching that for the first time, you knew a massive event was looming, and you just had to be a part of it. The daddy of all pre-fight hype videos/episodes, for sure. I love the below closing training sequence. You have Oscar, the can-do-no-wrong golden boy, getting attention from the media, whilst a relatively untapped superstar in comparison, Floyd, is jumping rope in a darkly lit room elsewhere. Kind of had that Rock-Clubber Lang feel to it. Brilliant:

Cotto-Marg Ep.1 – Can’t think of any 24-7 episode that’s managed to manipulate emotions, like this one. From conveying the image of Cotto laying in a hospital bed with tears of blood, to a grieving widow recounting her final times with a life-long partner, this episode did it all. And more importantly, it played the good vs evil aspect to perfection. Margarito, behind his dark shades, smiling and mocking his foe with "Oh that Cotto. How he cries", spoke volumes about the nature of the two combatants.

As for the third one, I can’t really think of any that spring to mind. Floyd-Hatton Ep.1, probably has a good shout.

Edit: Pac-JMM Ep.1 was pretty good, too. They covered their dramatic history pretty well.

Ironic that two of the best 24/7's seems to involve Mayweather, yet both fights were forgettable. A simple case of its whats in the book, not what the cover looks like that counts.

It's because they were brand-new at the time, featuring brand-new characters. But once the first two series - Oscar-Floyd and Hatton-Floyd - were done, their novelty wore off. It became repetitive.

    True.

I really liked Calzaghe - Jones.
Mayweather Hatton and Mosley were really good.
Maywather Ortiz had a really good first episode but faded.
Cotto Margarito was awesome. Lets hope the next one will be as good.

That's because Floyd was the one who made 24/7, so naturally it's a bespoke suit tailored to him. All the other fighters don't do as well on 24/7, you're not going to look as good wearing another man's custom suit.

Oscar and emmanuel were also popular and beloved fighters but didn't have enough game on TV to get an award for it.

"Aside from Mayweather's achievements in boxing, he is also the co-founder of HBO 24/7 (TV series). HBO alongside Mayweather produced a series of countdowns previewing their big pay-per-view fights."

    Best 24/7 Series:
Mayweather-Hatton, Hatton is the only fighter who genuinely believed he could beat Mayweather

    Mayweather-Mosley*

Cottoe-margoe, Miguel's actually interesting when he's willing to speak

*Shane, I barely knew who the **** you are. What the **** you mean I wanna be like you? How I wanna be like you? Come on, man! I'M the face of boxing. I'M the cash cow. I hold the record for pay-per-view. Me! For the highest gate, me!

Mosley say I fight for money, you ****in' dummy, Im a prizefighter. That's what I fight for, a prize. DUHH

I expected Mayweather-Corntiz to be real good, but Ortiz is just so corny.
