It's Clear Why The Mayweather - Pacquiao Fight hasn't happened, it's Bob Arum - Ariza

The two people who don't want the fight are, and always have been, Floyd and Arum. They hate each other but they're extremely alike.

Mayweather and Arum don't want the fight. I suspect Ellerbe doesn't either. Schaefer, De La Hoya, Pacquiao, Roach, Roger etc., all want it.

I have never seen so many people that hate Pac. I would bet that this fight hasn't happened for many reasons. Some are because of pacquiao and co. and some mayweather and co. You people would rather sit here and ***** and nag back and forth over **** that you really can not be 100% sure about. It is funny though because even if the fight does happen and one of them wins this **** will never be over. One of the fighters will have used roids or one will be cheating or the judges will be paid off or some other bull****.
I joined these forums to read about boxing and listen to peoples opinions and thoughts on fighters, upcoming matches, news and so on. Instead all I seem to be reading is a bunch of little girls fighting back and forth over a screen.

what the **** does that have to do with Arum. Whether Floyd knew or didn't know, how is it Arum's fault? Arum had no way of knowing Floyd would insist on blood testing before the fight. And if it wasn't for that they would have fought. Stay on topic.

So how is Arum the one making sure the fight doesn't happen? By making sure that Floyd will insist on blood testing before the fight and then making sure that Pac will ask for a cutoff and then making sure Floyd won't accept it? how ****ing dumb are you?

Its better that he did that actually, Pac got to fight Cotto and legitimize himself as a WW and made the fight even bigger.

I also think that there were feelers sent out to see how to make that Pac fight and they couldn't agree on the weight or the purse split. Do you think Pac was going to fight Mayweather at WW at that time? Or Mayweather would fight at Jr WW at that time? Do you think they would agree to 50-50 purse split at that time?

It wasn't until after the Cotto fight that they felt Pac could comfortably face Mayweather at WW and that they felt 50-50 split was good.

Simple they ran away from 14 days to fight Clottey. They acted like they were looking to make the Mayweather fight in the "2nd negotiations" when in reality they wanted Margarito all along and had that fight locked up. But had to try and fool the public that they would attempt to make the Mayweather fight hence the ******ed count down clock stunt that Arum wouldn't have done if he was serious. They made Mosley sign to TR and had the Mosley fight locked up before the Margarito fight was done. Then they signed Marquez and had the Marquez fight locked up and done before the Mosley fight was even done.

You can try and argue its because Mayweather went on vacation I can argue Mayweather went on vacation because they were playing games. But the fact that Arum wants Marquez 4 instead of Mayweather legitimizes what was said in the earlier paragraph.

The only difference is Roach and Ariza feel its time to cash out on a Mayweather now, while Arum isn't ready to give up his cash cow.

Ariza is full of himself and Arum is a snake.

Does that suddenly mean Floyd wanted the fight all along? :blood

    Come on.

Told you. Same thing Mayweather has been saying all along.

Arum doesn't want the fight and Pac is not eager to change that. They both know what is waiting for Pac.

One day soon Pac fans will wake up. The house of cards is falling fast.

I've said all along both promotions are to blame for the fight not happening, Aziras words don't change that.

    This. ^^

It's as clear as day. But, some people simply refuse to see it. We'll, probably, see Arum do a 180 when HE is ready to cash out on Pac. But, for now, he has Bradley lined up and, possibly, Marquez. If Pac takes a one sided boxing lesson from Floyd, the hype surrounding him will completely die (it's wilting after the Marquez fight). IMO, Arum does not want to take that chance, yet.

He can still make money off of Pac and use his notoriety to help build the reputations of other young and upcoming fighters in his stable (Bradley, Rios (when/if he moves up), etc.). Ultimately, it is NOT about what is best for Pac (though Pac is making ungodly amounts of money for his trouble)...Arum is looking out for Arum's business. Pac is on his way out...Arum will squeeze every ounce of worth out of Pac while he still can, then put him in with Floyd to cash out (if Floyd is still around and still has his '0' by then), IMO.
