I'd go with Walcott vs. Charles. A knockout based on pure perfect technique.

That was no hook. Technically that would be called a "smash".

One of the most savage knockouts I've ever seen.

After checking some footage, I gotta admit Tommy Morrison had a decent left hook.

Although Morrison was just an average boxer, it is still pretty impressive how he blows Ruddock...

Dempsey's hook, in the middle of a four or five punch combo, that knocked Willard down for the first time.............brutal

Some thread today mentioned Lee Ramage and that reminded me that Louis-Ramage II features one of the best left hooks by Joe that I can remember. And yeah, Foster-Quarry was a beauty. No words for SRR-FullmerII. I also remember one thrown as a counter by Sam Langford against Joe Jeanette that was a beauty. Zale-Cerdan featured a nice triple one (actually there were lots of them in that fight). Ohh. Steele-Lesnevich. Actually was not exactly a left hook, was almost like a southpaw straight left he shot while turning. The setting was almost as nice as the punch itself. And yeah Walcott-Charles was awesome. Had to be on Charles, though? Tsc. Marshall-Mills was interesting. For a second Mills seemed to forget he was in a fight (it was a leaping left hook too, by the way, to whoever asked).

Personally. I think Frazier-Foster had the most awesome body-head left hook combo of all time:

    Sugar Ray Robinson.

His hook was so quick and explosive. He could glide back and stop on a dime and put a fighter down with it. Robinson could also double and triple his hook. Hell he even threw 4 and 5 hooks at a time.

It was simply the greatest weapon any fighter has ever entered the ring with. Now the fact that he also had a killer right is the first clue on why he was the greatest to ever lace them up.
