    Yeah, I get that.

But it's also another stumbling block to a fight which has already see too many. Everything else has been agreed on, so why now throw in this silly request, when 50-50 has been reasonable all along.

It's probably a bit more complicated, for instance when Mayweather fought Hatton, Hatton got all the British TV rights, which worked out at £15million (which Hatton would have split with sky)

Then there's the site fee, world rights, etc, etc, etc.

Yea I don't think it's that big a deal or a massive stumbling back, doesn't Mayweather average 10% higher or more in his PPVs? Pacquaio/Arum put the same stumbling block in against Hatton btw

Again I don't even know if this is real, the OP is a Mayweather supporter

If Floyd does want more than 50 it will end up being 51-49

But there's nothing there to compromise. If this was back in 2009 where Pac was still at 21 days, then yes, I can understand the offer. But right now, Pac agreed to complete random testing ages ago. It's no longer an issue. Even Ellerbe has acknowledged this. So it makes no sense for Mayweather to say "Aight, lil' fella'. Make it 21 days, and give us mo' money". It's not necessary.

But **** it. We're arguing over something that isn't even true

    source?

if this is true, where are the *****s who say that testing with no cut-off is non negotiable and floyd is ok with 50-50 and not pricing himself out?

That wasn't Arum's doing. That was just Manny's. Hatton still got his 50%, and Arum had to dig into his own pocket to compensate.

Mayweather does not deserve more than 50-50.

    Floyd's last 3 PPVs:
    1.05 vs JMM
    1.4 vs Mosley
    1.25 vs Ortiz

    Manny's last 3 PPVs:
    1.15 vs Margarito
    1.3 vs Mosley
    1.5(?) vs JMM

If anyone should be asking for more it's Manny, but 50-50 is fine. They're neck and neck no matter how you look at it, there's really no solid argument to put one over the other. Either fighter asking for more than 50% is bull**** imo.

Because Arum probably got about 30-40% of that 52%

There was no official announcement for Pacquaio's last 2 fights and we all know Arum slants the figures and they usually come in lower. Was there even an official announcement for Margarito?

1.5 ppv vs JMM? dude the numbers didn't even come out yet and i think it's best to compare there last 5 or 6 fights :)

to add like powerpuncher says about the mosley and pacquiao fight. Arum didn't want to come out with the numbers i wonder why and just made one up. so stop!!! lol

    All roads lead to Pacquiao.,

The split should be no less than 55-45 for Pacquiao
