I wish somebody would wire Arum's office or tap his phone. I don't think there'd be any revelations, just confirmation of what we already know. He doesn't want to work with Floyd, doesn't want to work with Golden Boy once again and he's content to live out his remaining days this way.
sunn is just a troll, paulfv shows up at odd times using newspaper stories to start every thread...so maybe
There have been a ton of companies busted editing their own Wiki pages. How many people are working in the office at TR? You are thinking of it wrong if you are thinking it in terms of them finding random people and offering them money to blog on bulletin board sites. More than likely, there are people already working at the office that go on to websites to post to compliment other work they do. The big wigs certainly monitor these sites, havent you seen the number of topics or names that end up ******* because some bigwig has made a complaint? Its not like frank himself cruises this website, his employees did and found stuff the brought up to him. If you think no one from Top Rank ever made a post on this website from their office, youre pretty naive.
Not always the case, but I know what you mean. I don't have as much time to post here as I once did. As I said, I don't get paid to post here, and I have a life outside of ESB. So, I can only stop by now and then. I used to post here constantly. I've been around the site since it started, back in like 2001 or whatever. Now I have to be more measured and short when I post. So, I usually post when something strikes me in the press or I think I know something that could help inform others.
Good stuff, Sunnn! :good There's still a lot of "Wild West" to the internet, so what may apply to one industry in terms of regulation may not apply to all industries. That is, it may be illegal to pay people to do positive blog posts in, say, the communications industry (I have no idea if it is, just using that hypothetical). But it may not be illegal, say, in boxing (again, no idea if this is true or not). So, people who may want to try to spin a boxing site's audience might be perfectly within their legal rights to do so, and no one would be the wiser. You never know! :thumbsup
The Arum p.r machine is dead. They can write what they want now. The fans now know that the jig is up!
We all know you post undetermined alternate accounts. You're not fooling anyone. The Arum p.r machine is dead. You're dead meat pilgrim.
