Here's a Froch interview from his local news station. He's not really trolling in this one - well not too much by his standards. I found his comparison of Ward and Dirrell interesting. He says that while they are similar, Dirrell is faster and more skillful, but lacking in heart and mental toughness, while Ward has the heart and toughness, but is feather-fisted and not as gifted. He's really gone out on a limb there, echoing what pretty much the whole boxing community has been saying for several years now.
pretty spot on tbh. dirrell seems faster and slicker,but ye not as tough. where as ward seems determined,but not as slick and fast or powerful. wish that dirrell and ward fight did go through,they should still fight someone time soon! Froch has the expeirence of fighting a higher calibre of opponent,where as ward seems to have had it all prety easy going to the final,i think that could hurt ward and froch might be ready for wards skills and toughness,and has himself improved techinically,especially with following a gameplan and boxing smarter of late.
i agree with Froch. But I'm not sure about whether who's the more skilled of the two. I can't stand Dirrell, and i want to like Ward, but sometimes he's making it hard for me.
