    David Price reportedly had a HORRID chin in the amateurs and he's light years ahead of Wilder as a pro. :think

    He has had a comparitive number of amatuer and professional fights as Fury.

    Yes, going life and death against Harold Scoiners is a bad sign.

    I'm not saying that he won't make it, just that there are legitmate question marks.

    Wladimir's was undefeated. And vitaly's meet mike tyson, and actually went 10 rounds with him. So no we can't lay off Wilder. I like him, but he's fighting bum after bum. Even Arreola is facing tougher opposition than Wilder, and that's bad

    I disagree in this particular case.

    Wilder had very little amateur experience. (only 3 years) It only makes sense that they are moving him slowly & carefully in the pros. - but now is the time for him to step up, and I think this is a good match-up before his first serious opponent.

    If Wilder wins tonight in devastating fashion, who would be a good choice for his next opponent? I'm thinking Fury, who still has a small amount of hype behind him, has a smattering of pro skills, but would pose no real threat.

    Wilder needs to show some marked improvement and soon..All of his fights have been
    1 .Wait for guy to cycle into right hand
    2.Throw Right hand
    3,If not KO'd repeat steps 1 &2

    Still a world of potential.

    I agree with you on Vitali's opponent, but not on Wladimir's.

    Look at Wladimir's opponents record. He faced noting but bums. Come on. Look at the record before you write. Being undefeated dont meet **** if you are fighting bum after bum.

    And yeah Arreola is pretty bad to fight decent oppoents too.

    Fury has fought a much higher level of comp....That would be an enormous step up in class for Wilder.

    Some C level journeyman would be a nice step up...maybe a faded LHW who won't get sparked out early would be a great choice

    Tye Fields would be a great choice.

    He was undefeated because he had NEVER fought a fighter that had a weinning record.
    After Wlad he went on to lose 11 out of his remaining 16 fights,including 2 against Maurice Wheeler.

    Ribalta fought Tyson 12 YEARS before he fought Vitali!

    And had lost 10 fights in the meantime!

    Ribalta and Shaheed at that stage of their careers aere no better than Long.

    So yes, I think we should lay off Wilder a bit.

    Fighting journeyman up until about your 20th fight is perfectly normal.

    Jeez even Tyson was fighting James Tillis in his 20th fight and hes hardly a legend of the pro game is he?

    He's 19-0 with 19 KO's, and throws the most devastating overhand right since, well, maybe ever. 6'7" and still only 27 years old.

    His opponent here was 15-6, w/ 10 KO’s, and in great shape. Not world-class, but not exactly a tomato can, either.
