Hello Paul. I know you don't have anybody paying u to post, but your knowledge of public relations, especially Internet, seems hella more than the average bear. Was only wondering if you are a writer or publicist for a living?

Again I'm not implying, more complementing skills. Even if I don't always agree with some of your opinions

I know enough about how the media and PR games work to know something when I see it. I used to work in media. I have done some limited writing in the past.

But overall, I'm nobody. Just A Guy. I've spent a good amount of time, though, researching public relations and how it works, including in the internet age. I would advise anyone to do the same -- it is very illuminating once you can see the things unfolding before you.

 

Doubt if he's paying LEGIT press. Maybe ill-equipped, unpaid boxing-site writers for the thrill of rubbing shoulders with insiders 'n wearing press credentials at fights.

 

What's your profile of a boxing site writer?

IMO it would se in the current age it would be smart for the larger promotional firms to have a "team" of individuals to hang out and post in forums, interact first hand with the public, and maybe lay some ground work for certain agendas and such. Hell, it would be a great way to get a feel for reactions to proposed plans and ideas that may be on the drawing board.

 

Oh, they've brought the lawyers in to issue non-denial denials. paulfv is definitely on the payroll.

If someone claims he is more knowledgable, it is always safe to assume he is a *****.

No other boxing fan consistently claim they know more than anybody.

Just look at the thread - How can Pac survive for 12 rounds against Gayweather.

I highly suspect Gayweather is paying some of these *****s. The level of dumbness and idiocy is at par with the one paying them.
