    Thankyou in advance :good

I think Rodriguez will beat Broner, it's just a hunch that I have, looking forward to a solid night.

:think The Streep parallel is essentially all there is to it. He'll keep getting cast in more and more serious roles until finally they have no choice but to recognize him as a talent and not just another pretty face.

Earlier, unbeaten featherweights DeVonte Allen & Salvador Perez battled to a draw in the opener @ US Bank Arena.

That is two of the six bouts in Cincinnati already in the books.

Remaining are a 4-rounder and a 6-rounder, and then the Gary Russell Jr. vs. Heriberto Ruiz bout over 10 rounds and finally the main event for this venue: Adrien Broner vs. Vicente Rodrigez.

Meanwhile over in Mexico City, there are a total of ten bouts scheduled. Like the Cincinnati card, only two bouts will be televised (Daniel Estrada vs. Carlos Parra, and Saul Alvarez vs. Kermit Cintron on BoxNation) - and only the main event on HBO.

will Canelo pull out the shoulder roll in another "homage to Mayweather" or does he get serious?

BoxNation is promoting itself heavily. (it switches from a free/"beta" station to a paid service in four days)

"One way of looking at it is, yes it's another £10 a month - but when you think about it, £2.50 a week - that's a pint. £10 is a round for your mates!"

"Every month, for £10 you're guaranteed four domestic shows. Four of my shows, that's worth £10 of anybody's money, innit? Plus, every month you get three, sometimes four international shows featuring top American talent. You get to see all these talented boxers not only getting educations as they step up, but winning titles. How is that not worth £10?????"

It's just a shame they serve up as much **** as they do good stuff...and even more irritatingly they have Steve "fat ****er" Bunce as it's face which is annoying, add that to Steve "I'm s professional who seems to know **** all" Lillis...eurgh.

Truth be told, I wish they had a station like that I could subscribe to in this country. Maybe someday.

It's nice, but remember it's 2 am UK time, they aren't going to sell many subscriptions if they only show good fights at 2am...the past few weeks (aside from November 5th) have been awful.

Here is the full docket & live broadcast running order:

    • Chris Pearson vs. Steven Chadwick, 4 rounds @ middleweight (Cincinnati)

    • Gary Russell Junior vs. Heriberto Ruiz, 10 rounds @ featherweight (Cincinnati)

    • Adrien Broner vs. Vicente Martin Rodriguez, 12 rounds @ super featherweight (Cincinnati)

    • Saul Alvarez vs. Kermit Cintron, 12 rounds @ light middleweight (Mexico City)

Daniel Estrada is no longer being shown, as his original opponent in Mexico City (Francisco Cordero) is out and replaced with Carlos Parra. Apparently Estrada vs. Cordero was worth BoxNation's time, but Estrada vs. Parra isn't. Kind of harsh that they preempt the ten-rounder for a mere 4-rounder. :conf Whatever. Their prerogative.
