His offensive prowess far outweighs his defensive abilities. When he's trying to be flashy he never sets his feet and is woefully inaccurate because he looks for either the pull back-left hook or the shoulder roll-right uppercut every single time. When he sets himself and leads his range of punches becomes much more diverse, his jab is imposing and he's effective going to the body. On top of that his accuracy shoots up ten fold and he's explosive enough to do that. Fight like he did at the conclusion of this bout rather than the annoying and ineffctive ponce he did against Ponce and he might just make me a fan.:yep
Most of us who are up at 4 AM are hardcore fans who do watch stuff that isn't just shown on British TV.
Not sure if you're being sarcastic but did you miss the drunk Argie timing him on occasions, Broner needs to work on his shoulder roll it worked against this very low level opponent on the nth attempt but I doubt Ricky would just walk into Broner like Rodriguez did. Ricky would stay on the outside stick and move, and outpoint him.
Yep Mike Jones esque quality of finishing. It came more to do with Rodriguez trying to fight fire with fire instead of seeing out the storm.
i don't get why people rag on Narváez he knew he was being picked to give donaire a highlight ko and said screw that and decided to make him look ordinary barkers performance wasn't that dissimilar
