Broner comes across as fake to me. A guy who watched too much Mayweather 24/7. Russell's answers are real and legit. I think even though Broner might have more raw talent, Russell will go farther due to his head being screwed on right.

    Thoughts?

Hard to tell right now, but Russell may have more upside. I think both should start hanging out with Floyd more for guidance. Russell would be a good sparring partner for Floyd also

Broner's answers were so fake IMO. He just won his first title as a pro and his answers came across as scripted. I'm sorry but when PBF won his first title, his emotions were real. He wasn't playing a script. He worked hard to get there. Broner thinks this 24/7 stuff will come to him if he's just flashy. Sorry, but skills win in this business.

Russel just fought a 10 rounder for the first time in his career? Broner is wbo world champion now? At the current time i say broner. I like his style. Good kid. Lots of potential. Same with russel

There are much better fights that can be made at 126 than at 130; so based on opportunity, GRJ looks to be better positioned. Though I suspect that Broner will soon be moving to the more talent rich 135 lb division.

I don't like Broner's attitude. Like all this superstar stuff should be laid on a mat for him. Unless if he has a special work ethic like PBF, he will be blasted in due time due to his false sense of confidence. I like Russell's attitude. Reminds me of Tim Bradley. A guy who has the goods but knows that only hard work will get him far. Broner comes across as too relaxed even though he ain't done **** yet.

Russell will be better and I think he might be ready to move up in competition now. Broner could be one of the best in the division he's in, but he doesn't have Russell's upside. Russell can be one of the absolute best in the business.

Broner is closer to the money as he has more fights and is closer to junior welter and welter so that money and fame can be had for him. Both very young and I havent seen russel before tonight and it only lasted a 2 minutes so I cant give a good analysis on his skill set other than he looks very fast anf he KO'd dude in round 1 so he likely has some pop.

But Broner reminded me of a young PBF with the Philly Shell and shoulder roll on the ropes. he also countered blocked body shots with ups, that was floyd's money punch when faced with brawlers. That up is what lead to the KO or out Martinez in the KO moment for Fight Night Fans. Adrien also took some clean shots and took them without any serious damage. I dont like his footwork however. He seemed flat footed like he was trying to emulate floyds style but only his upper body. he didnt open his guard and step back to evade body shots like floyd and he doesnt have that shoulder roll down yet.

He is young and I hope he improves a lot as a boxer. Im already a fan and his charisma is very good "Pop come brush my hair" lol

You have to understand the unique business of boxing. Like it or not that fake personality will sell. Ironically Russell's humble nature could be what holds him back from being a real star unless he starts knocking people out. So far he's on the right track. My vote easily goes to Broner. He appears well-rounded as a fighter and his haters club is multiplying by hundreds as we speak. That's a recipe for success.

Broner thinks he's a rock star and he's never really been tested yet. He just won a world title and hasn't even fought anyone in The Ring Top 10.

WTF would he do that for? JMM, Rios... both would beat his ass. If he moves down he's got Gamboa to deal with...

He needs to stay in this division and see if he can own it. Hang around 130 and mature as a fighter until JMM retires then move up.
