Bit of a quick stoppage I thought, but I don't think it would have mattered. Cintron was looking at the ref, looking to jump out of the ring. He was done. Canelo is turning into a bit like a more of a skilled Arthur Abraham. He was blowing quite a bit in just those 5 rounds, just throwing power shots. Defense is still quite leaky when he's on the offensive. Overall, he did what he had to do and he looked good again, but just those negatives I saw he needs to work on some defense and definitely his stamina.
Donaire, Broner, Russell Jr., Canelo, future is bright with all these bright eyed, very skilled fighters. All they need are some names on their resume and these guys will be high P4P very soon. Lot of young, talent coming through the ranks. Very exciting times, and a great way to end the season Mares-Agbeko, Cotto-Margarito, Jones-Lujan, Wolak-Rodriguez, Helenius-Chisora, Rios-Murray. WAR!!!
