why does hbo pretend that Martinez has fought the best middleweights????

    first off i do think that martinez is the best
    middleweight based on skill, power,proformace etc

    but why do they keep pretending he has beaten the best middleweights
    and does not too fight the other top guys/"belt holders"

    by the way any champion who is an hbo boy
    is a "belt holder"
    and their guy is always the champion

    beat line
    the top middleweights

    pirog
    strum
    macklin
    etc etc

    not one of the top 6-7 guys in the divison
    has been fought by martinez

    he has beaten mainly jr. middleweights
    and darren baker

    who is good but the is the 3rd best middleweight
    in england
    behind macklin and super G

    I think they're referring to Pav & PDub when they claim that.

    I hope Pirog moves to the US someday. I wonder how long HBO will hold a grudge against him for taking Jacobs out...

    The only other Middleweight that appears to be worth something is Pirog. And his big claim to fame is a win over Danny Jacobs.

    P. Williams, Pavlik, Dzinzruk, Barker > Jacobs.

    Macklin, Sturm, Pirog all would be tough for him. I don't think Sturm would fight him.

    :good but at 160. Oscar and Trinidad went up for Hopkins, no catchweight, there against really a light heavyweight. Sergio is not that big either.

    You can take Williams out of the list. He sux at middleweight and would lose most of the top10 to be honest.

    And Dzin too. he has been all his career at light middleweight :lol:

    to show that from top 20 guys
    he fought 1

    not as big source of who is the best and what spot
    he belongs etc
