Max Kellerman vs Steve Bunce

I like both guys, they both love the sport. They get things wrong but end of day i prefer both to say Adam Smith.

I used to HATE HATE HATE Max Kellerman, and i mean HATE.

But somehow, (cant believe im saying this) he's slowly grown on me and actually don't mind him so much now. I'd say he's the best on HBO, miles better than Jim "Bang Bang" Lampley.

Basically he is a young Larry Merchant, except you're not waiting half an hour for him to slur out a question then ignore the answer.

Kellerman is good interviewer and knows his boxing, Bunce is a poor man Kellerman

 

That is a staggeringly ignorant thing to say. Trying to pick one over the other is just stupid. Kellerman has had some shameful nights in his career.

 

As a closer on this long, long running chat....he gets the job done, he never misses a beat and with HBO's millions in production values he is involved in brilliant gigs. But, he is not my cup of tea. It's not personal, just professional.

How is picking one over the other stupid? Yes he has had some bad nights, but on the whole he is very good at what he does

 

As is Bunce. Kellerman was the guy who called the shameful refereeing in Cotto-Foreman great "take charge" refereeing, even though the guy completely ignored the rules.
