(before I start, why is it that people are coddling David Price?)

    anyways...

So, Wilder is a little better than the average bum. But what we have to remember is that these guys he's going through may not have the skills, but may have chins- which means while Wilder isn't getting up on the skill level or getting hit, his hands may be the type of hands that can take out a tank. So, let's get that on the record.

But, what about Wilder's chin? It hasn't been tested yet, at any point in his career. Have never seen him hit, yet.

It would be a great fight between Chisora, Price/ (Malik) Scott and Wilder wouldn't it? Perhaps even a Manswell can make a good run at Wilder. Stiverne may be a bit out of his league at this stage of the game, but it may also provide some entertainment and in a fight Wilder and Stiverne could have that would both boost their careers, moreso than it would for Wilder than Stiverne. At least it would keep Stiverne busy and solidify him as the guy who is certainly not the bum on the other side of the Heavyweight division.

    So, what say you?

ANY of those guys knocks Wilder out cold - yes, even Malik Scott. This guy is a FRAUD, he is packing PURE CHINA in that mandible. And his handlers know it, which is why he fights nothing but stiffs.

I like Wilder's patience in the ring though. He gets wild when he has an opponent pinned on the ropes, but when he steps into the middle of the ring he has patience and looks for his shots. Also, he has great pace as well. Doesn't rush into things and only when an opponent is on the ropes does he start to swing away with anything, but after a few shots he backs off and gets back to the center of the ring- where most of his fights have been won.

It's easy to do that though when you are fighting guys who are several levels below you in class. When there are actual dangerous punches coming at you, it's a different matter.

I cannot get past the abysmal level of opposition this guy is fighting this far into his career. There has got to be a reason for it, a reason that will become apparent if he starts fighting better comp.

You must have missed his fight against Harold Sconiers. Sconiers knocked Wilder down but the video kept getting removed from youtube.

Wilders other wins all remain on youtube which makes me believe the people behind Wilder are trying to protect him on every level.

Ok. I missed that indeed. Wilder has been off of my radar for quite some time. I think he's too think to be a good HW. The reason why Lennox- and Lennox does have a weak chin and so does Wlad- absorbs those heavy shots is because Lennox has bulked up and eats the proper foods for a HW.

If Wilder wants to take a shot he has to eat some more cheeseburgers mon!

If he gets rocked by the utter stiffs he's fighting, decent prospects or fringe contenders will destroy him. Wilder is such a glass jawed joke it's not even funny. As soon as he faces a live body, it's canvas-nap time for him.:yep

When a touted amateur like this gets "caught" by a mediocre journeyman with a 25 percent KO rate, and then continues to fight stiff after stiff to protect his "0' - chances are he's packing some china in his mandible.:lol:

Hearns didn't have a great chin and went on to be the most winningest champion of all time. Wlad's chin is VERY questionable and look at how we tout him- Wlad has been rocked, repeatedly. His brother is far more durable. If Wilder just learns how to block or swerve most of those shots he can win a title... it has happened before, if having a weak chin is his issue.

These same chin checking ***gots slobber all over Wlad's balls though, which is ironic. Wilder's potential is enormous and he looked much better last night; good to see him improve.

Yup. Plus he doesn't have a long amatuer background, which is a reson why his handlers want him to learn how to "box" and stay away from shots if he is not accustomed to handling them.

Ducking a punch is one thing, swerving or rolling one is another, but it's quite a different thing to take a punch flush on the jaw and remain calm and focused and not panic.

I saw Bowe take some shots that would kill an elephant, but he kept on rolling. No man should be able to take the shots Bowe took against Golota and/or Holyfield the second time around. But Bowe, through his long career, learned how to suck it up and keep on chugging.

Wilder can learn the same thing.
