    I wanted to see him fight a Klitschko...It would have been funny to see something that big and ugly fall.:lol:

    I'm sure there's still money to be made on that fight, too.

    i dont get it he won the belt and seemed to lose his killer instinct

    he would come in and KO Barret and Beck and Etienne and throw the right with authority and then vs Chagaev and Holyfield just jabbed

    SNV realized that his presence in the sport takes everyone elses chances to win the title. He felt sorry (hence hos last few "poor" performances) and since he had nothing left to prove, he moved on to other things.

    I hate to say it again, but as with much of boxing these days (same as it ever was) he was probably paid off to take it easy. Not a dive exactly, just lose.

    He was temporarily a great marketing gimmick, but then the powers-that-be had other, more important plans.


    What, you thought boxing was legit?

    Barrett ran in2 him while he lost his balance so Valuev slapped him out , it was no right with authority , just a stumbling big man awkwardly defending himself . Beck & Etienne IDK , and it was obvious that Valuev did not want 2 do any harm with Holyfield , Valuev , Bergeron , etc .

    Valuev and Haye both ruined each other in their slug fest. Both were never the same after that IMO.
