BS stoppage

    WTF is happening to this sport ?

    First, Chavez-Manfredo, now Canelo-Cintron. Cintron was fighting back and actually stunned Canelo in the 5th. Both were gassed and just because Canelo landed a good shot, the ref stepped in ?

    That`s why people are more intested in the UFC nowadays.
    Shogun was hurt much more badly than Cintron in rounds 1,2 and 3, and Henderson also in rounds 4 and 5, but the ref let then continue because they were fighting back, even being more tired than both Canelo and Cintron.

    I`m sick of those BS stoppages.

    Cintron was a zombie. He didn't care.

    Cintron was looking for a way out.

    Canelo/Gomez was a bull**** stoppage.

    Cintron was getting busted up. I would have perferred the KO though. It wasn't lame like Cole jumping in to give Chavez his preordained win.

    There really has been a bunch of bull**** stoppages lately though.... wheres all the refs with some balls. Then again its not the ref jumping in for someones health, they are jumping in to help the house fighter.... pathetic. This is boxing.....

    The cheavez stoppage was a hair to soon but Cintron was done! Did you see him at the end of the last round? I am surprised that his corner let him out

    Cintron was so f*cking wrecked. He was about one punch away from jumping through the ropes. Good stoppage.

    i have no problem with it but I would have liked to see it play out. Cintron was still fighting back.

    BS stoppage or not (I think it was) Cintron didnt want to continue. He quit the instant he felt hurt.
