How do you define a bum?

I don't, I respect every single fighter. From Mayweather, to Pacquaio, to the club fighter, you or I have never heard of.

 

I don't call no fighter a bum, but I think how people should use it is to describe the majority of opponents that a prospect fights in their first few bouts.

someone like Zab Judah for example IS NOT A "BUM" IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM!

 

I define a bum in relative terms.

I.e. When Wlad fights Mormeck.. I consider Mormeck a bum.

But Mormeck as a fighter himself isn't a bum.

Or when Rocky Balboa defeated Spyder Rico... Spider Rico was a bum..

But Spider Rico as a fighter himself isn't a bum....

 

someone who has 10 losses or more before they reach their 30's

 

homeless and destitute person.

"Bum" is a term used by most people who either never trained a day in their life & truly don't respect the sacrifice one put's their body thru to compete in this sport or...

Bum: Internet warrior douchebag that has never laced on gloves but feels entitled to comment on the talent of those that do what they could never.

 

Even dudes like cintron, audley?

 

An utterly mediocre fighter that any boxer with average skills could easily beat, and whose only use is to pad and inflate the records of other boxers.

Some fighters are meant to be bums from the start (example: 90% of Saul Alvarez' or Chavez jr. rivals), while other become bums due to old age, excessive damage, or a combination of both, even if they were great once (example: current Roy Jones)

 

A fighter that has absolutely no chance to win the fight being discussed. Not even so much as a punchers chance.

 

You don't get anywhere in Boxing, amatuer or pro, without having something inside of you that alot of others don't.

 

A bum is a fighter with no lips, ugly, brown hair, ugly, cheap sneakers, and born with funky ass **** breath who wears Lee Jeans with 666 imprinted on his caveman chimp faced body, right Bobby Boom Boom ******?
