Doctors to reassess shannon tomorrow morning at 8am.

I know it was not intentional but the erroneous reporting by ray wheatley and barry michael was pretty damn poor.

 

In got a phone call at ten past three today from a good mate of Shannon's, he had just got off the phone from Brad Gallagher, he rang to tell me of Shannon's death.

 

Wheatley's spread in Fightnews has now been ditched

 

Disgraceful. Wheatley is known for misleading or straight out false reporting. But this is something that you should be 100% right about before submitting.

 

You just can't help yourself....

I read Ray's FightNews piece at 5.50pm this evening, I thought it was a disgrace.

 

You wonder where they got their info from. Its been weird how many people and media outlets have reported news of the worst kind today,

 

Does anyone have an accurate status of this poor bloke?

The manner in which this has been reported is a ****ing joke and a complete and utter farce.

I genuinally feel for his family the way this has been reported/mis-reported.

The hospital has a lot to answer for also, every hospital has a media liaison and surely someone would have thought to put out accurate media statements / releases every 3hrs in order to keep a consistent message to the public.

The hap-hazzard nature of 'media' and so-called 'industry identities' now through social-networking or the internet has turned this into a circus.

My genuine sympathies for the family at this time. I hope Shannon is fighting the good fight.

 

accurate sources can be found on facebook, but many jokers around here have been known to snub a thumb at facebook, i belive his wife and Jim before id believe fckwits Wheatly and Michales.

 

This is a time to reflect on and celebrate Shannon's life, regardless of reports. He had his demons.. as we all do.. but he also touched many in his life including family and friends. I am not one of either. Be respectfull... try and keep this positive guys.

Shocking news. Sounds like he is all but gone. You would think it would be a tough decision to turn off life support.

For those that he was an idiot for doing so have no idea. No matter whether it was party, or needed a pick me up; its called addiction.

Those that experience this are a slave to the drug (coke, ice and even grog). Shannan sounds like he went clean for a long time which was a credit to him. But this stuff never leaves you. Its not as simple as just not doing it, because you have kids or otherwise. Kids are everything I know. But this sh1t grabs you by the balls and never lets go.

To me he seemed like a good man. Passionate and misread at times.

 

He definitely was a contender.....
