Think of the applications that you can download for free but need to pay for additional content once you have them.

I am guessing that a potential BoxNation mobile application will allow users to pay to download content such as individual fights or features.

That makes more sense - why make up a word like freemium though?

Weird... That's a good idea though. MMO games use that model more and more. It raises money through advertising from increased numbers but encourages micro-transactions for items, level access, etc.

Seems to be working for a lot of companies.

I am feeling less enthused about BN when they're running it like amateurs and still haven't sorted the online component out.

I don't mind doing a bit of leg work, but I would have thought they would have made this more straight forward and got Sky to do the billing even if it meant they lost a couple of quid per user.

I think I'm going to sit out subscribing until Feb as I have a shed load of bills for Xmas that are already building up. I was also going to cancel my sky sports sub, but i think i will also park that idea until after Xmas as their December line up looks ok.

SBO although terrible was easy and quick for buyers all you had to do was go through sky remote press a few buttons and ordered. Or ring up and it was ordered immediatly, this is just mediocre in comparison

So can someone explain cause i caught a glance of a "E-Wallet", so we fund our paywizard account and then it takes it from there, or is it still coming from our bank account.

Im quite a geek myself but even im ****ing confused, couldn't they have announced this 2 weeks back so had time to check up, not 6 days before a huge fight.

They've lost me, shouldn't have to go through too much if they want my custom.

As I understand it you will add funds to your PayWizard account (like PayPal) and your monthly fee will be debited from there.

Yum. I'm going to buy a tablet when Android 4.0 comes out - it's called Ice Cream Sandwich. Maybe that's why we should be "snacking".

R.I.P Boxnation. Typical Frank, what a low life snidy **** he is. luring people in to subscribe with the Margarito-Cotto card. Making people sign up for a minimum of 6 months and promising big fights on a weekly basis, yeh right. Give it two weeks and all you will see week in week out is fighters like liam Walsh headlining against afrobums and his prospects fighting fat latvians. Disgusting.

Might aswell watch it by other means and wait till the new year to see whats happening and if they sort out what sounds like a ****ing mess.

By the way if anyone from boxnation is reading ( i doubt you are) i was going to subscribe today if it was quick and easy now i cant be arsed! Well done dickheads:good
