Well done Fwank... you seemed to have a good thing going and went and made things uneccessarily difficult, so in turn have lost out on (quite) a few subscriptions.

 

i take it the sale of kick dummys will fall drastically come 1st december

Fills you with confidence. I can't get either service though - no Virgin in my area and I'm sure everyone knows I hate Sky.

 

Normally I'm not the sort of person to go on a self righteous rant about customer service et al but on this occasion I feel the need to have a mini rant.

When they announced BoxNation and how the channel was going to be run I was quite excited, even though I was extremely sceptical about it's chances of success I had no doubt that I would subscribe, but now I am not so sure.

I'm with Virgin and haven't decided for definite if I will be subscribe or not, but even though this doesn't effect me terms and conditions like this are yet another own goal from BoxNation because this goes to show how extremely short sighted they are. This is clearly a bad move because yet again they are made to look to slightly shady and if this is an indicator of the sort of customer service they will look to provide then I will not be subscribing. This may not effect me but Box Nation seem to be consistently scoring own goals and this hardly has me excited at the prospect of parting with £50 of my money with them.

Tbh, I'm getting ****ed off. First this PayWizard ****, then*I have to pay double subscription because I want it in more than one room? That's bollocks*

 

Is anyone really surprised that a channel set up by the same people behind Setanta UK is having these sort of problems?

 

I think Boxnation need to get a lot of issues sorted out or they are gonna go bust very quick:

1. Get rid of Paywizard and either subscribe through sky or via DD

2. At least have the schedule for the next two months up - i know some fights aren't made and **** happens in boxing such as cancellations etc but at least try to show us what we are paying for. At the minute they want us to subscribe on their word they will get so many fights at so so quality.

3. Set a goal for upgrade in quality, if I can watch a better quality stream i will, I don't mind while they get their feet on the ground but they need to plan towards HD if i'm paying a tenner a month.

4. Sort the record out for sky, I know you can do a timed record but ffs surely if every other channel can avoid this issue then they can. people are lazy and its a pain in the arse setting a timer after a bottle of rum.
