Are you really this stupid or do you just do it for me?

There is a difference ****** between investors and Sponsors. Bud Light is the official SPONSOR of the NFL, they get their name slapped onto every national broadcast of the NFL. They make their money via sales of Beer.

AEG is an investment group, they invest in sports teams. They make their money off the sale of tickets, sale of team gear, TV rights, and get money from SPONSORS for the right to stick their logos on ****.

The difference is readily apparent in the accounting of the two companies. Bud light puts down their Sponsorship under Advertising Expense. AEG puts their purchasing of arenas, teams, etc. down as assets.

And if you are bringing up Ferindand Marcos again, his profit incentive was very clear with his investment. NOT getting killed, maimed, or thrown out of office. Now what would these other investors that nobody knows about except Bob Arum have a need for this? Is the fight going to happen in Syria? Is that where the secret investment group is from? No? Then it doesn't really matter what a dictator trying to placate the masses did in the 70s.

I'll give you proof, here is Golden Boy promotions Number: 213-489-5631

It took me 10 seconds to look up using google.

Why can't an investment team so desperate to give out $65M to $100M can't use Google to find someone else to talk to other than Bob ****ing Arum? They have $100M, but no Internet or Telephone? If that's the case then they have significantly more things to worry about than seeing this fight occur.

Why investors? To shirk off some of the risk involved in sales. For example, Duran-Leonard II was a huge flop.

it's amazing that these *****s turned from chemical/drug experts to law experts and then to business experts in the span when floyd came back from retirement up to present.

Because the more you have involved, the more you have to split. Sure it's a risk, but with something like "Pacquiao vs Mayweather Jr." there is NO risk! It's not smart in this case. Floyd's a better buisness man for taking risks and (almost) fully funding his fights - since he's become a guaranteed attraction there is really no risk. He's gonna sell, and the profit is almost all his.

Where's the risk in this fight? Only risk lies in the guarantee Bob is going to give to Manny, and his fighters on the undercard, other than that the fight is virtually risk free. Essentially everything else is being paid for by the party providing it, the site is paying them to host the fight, the TV promotion of the fight is being handled by HBO and the cable and satellite providers, Fathom Events is probably going to handle the movie theater showings. Everybody involved with this fight is getting their money on the back end of sales or isn't asking for a return. There is nothing to cover other than some Airline tickets and a few stage setups for the various cities for the promo tour. And your telling me a guy who is able to give out Cash Advances in the millions to his fighters can't cover half a stage set up and some rented audio equipment?

Same happended in Montreal for the 1st fight, the investers got badly burnt, what with SRL mega purses, they needed a 70,000 crowd to break even but only 46,000 showed up after it pissed down with rain. King & Arum scooped all the Closed Circuit revenues. With a min of $100+ MILLION split between the Floyd/Pac someone's going to have to dig mighty deep to finance this ****er & forget all about the HBO sure bet of breaking records with PPv.

There's always a tipping point when the cost is just $1 doller too much & the missis sez **** off & go watch it round yer mates as we ai'nt paying that $$$$ price or wait for someone to give you the DVD. Most households are on hard times & you tell me whats the breaking point statesided?? would you pay $100??? or would you be allowed too if married & the kids need new shoes ect ect. There's a brutal worldwide recession on & i'd definetly want to lay off a good part of the cost of this promotion onto deeper pockets. Share the risk, common sense to some.

It all depends on the site fee as far as the MGM are concerned. If it's at the MGM then it's a cert that the lower level tickets will be around $3K minimum for starters & the cheapest will start at $500 with the rest of the upper level $750/$1000/$1500/$2000 again minimum. They'll be no tickets put on public sale as these will all be put with the agencies if GBP get their way & if Top Rank do put any online then they'll be the corner sections.

This is a celeb-fest fight just like TYSON/HOLYFIELD II was. I was at that fight & was lucky enough to get my ticket from a sports agent who was banging some ***** in DKP in Madison ave NY. No tickets for this fight ever went on public sale as DK kept the lot.

Even the MGM had **** all tickets & the advertised rate in the Las Vegas Sun was $16K for any $1500 ticket, the casino's where paying $25K upwards for any ticket come the friday so the High Rollers/Casino invitees could see the fight. After this act of Don King $$$ **** the MGM now keep at least 2000 tickets back for themselves + Caesars & the Wynn will also have their tranch of tickets for their invited guests so there ai'nt going to much left for joe public.

    MONEY and Security.

Let them deal with the risk of losing money.
