  1. Amen. Yeah, we latinos can be really territorial even with our own peeps. I was born here in NYC but never considered myself anything but PR.

I think this fight will show a lot pro's from both parts but mainly from Cotto. I want to see the adjustment and the different tactic's that will be used. Stamina, was an issue in there first fight....so, hopefully we'll see an improvement in this area.

Being that Mexico is such a large country, you get a lot of that territorial rivalry crap over their. Look at how many wars boxing has had just between Mexicans.

  5. I want Cotto to win but I would be kidding if I said Margarito is an easy fight for Cotto.

  6. I was hoping Omar Henry could get his stuff together. He was decent and had good power too.

Luis cruz is a young fighter and i'm sure we will see him in the ring soon. Here's the difference between fighting 10 rds and stepping to dig for 2 more rds.

I can see Cotto being the one to make adjustments, Margo is going to the same thing and just apply pressure and unload power shots with conviction.

That "reconstructed" looks very weird. I don't by the claims by Arum that it's better than the average persons. But who knows, hopefully Margo can now see the shots and move his head! Doubt it though. :D

Hey, wasn't Henry out in Mexico helping Margo prepare for Cotto?

All depends on how well he take's that first defeat. For his sake and for the sake of the rivalry I hope he does come back. Man 2011 was not a competitive year. Come on Boricuas!!! Que hay!!! :good

  11. He was.... Traitor! :D That's OK Cotto had Rubio.

  12. I saw the interview with an eye doctor who said the bone itself will be stronger now... So no luck in smashing the bone... but, the tissue around the eye I would think, is softer now and will tear easier.

Are you seriuos? Cotto had Rubio? That is a good choice for a sparring partner in my opinion.
