...then why did Pacquiao win his first world championship at age 19 but it took Mayweather until age 21 to win his?

In fact, Pacquiao was a two-division world champion with six title defenses before he turned 25 years old.

    That's an "ordinary" fighter?

    :huh

 don't take Mayweather's statement literally. I support him but not everything he says makes sense. Especially when he compares himself beating heavyweights to what Pacquiao has done

Ordinary fighters win lineal titles in two divisions, an alphabet title in another, and dominate top 5 ranked p4p fighters/HOFers like Marco Antonio Barrera.

Pac turned pro at 16 and FMJ at 18(If Im not mistaken) So that makes it three years for the both of them to win the first championship but what I dont get is where were all of you pac fans pre FMJ vs ODLH because to me pac beating Hatton and ODLH was what made him into this world beater for his fans....Im just asking....

mayweather was boxing in the olympics when he was 19 and didnt turn pro until after that summer. so winning a title after 2 years of becoming a pro is pretty impressive..

Barrera was in, or very close, to his prime in 2003.

The rematch win in 2007 meant little. What a pointless matchup that was.

Because with 17 weight divisions and 5 organizations getting a gift title does not mean a thing. Factor in the interim, diamond, super champions as well as the catchweight crap and Roid's 8 division titles don't mean ****.

Hmm, known Mayweather critics have resorted to picking apart meaningless statements from Mayweather. I wonder why?
