Ricky Burns. Really? Khan is rightly the only boxer on there, and will be nowhere near winning.

Cavendish, rightly or wrongly, might struggle getting in the vote with cycling seemingly constantly under a drugs cloud...I'd be surprised if he wins

Its got nothing whatsoever to do with whether he's tested positive or not, neither has Armstrong, its just the perception surrounding the sport.

I don't know who the f*ck he is. But it's only a matter of time, surely?

There's not one of those dudes who hasn't been on that Jin and Juice.

    No, clean as a whistle.

His new team(Sky) are probably the cleanest in the sport too.

A shocking indictment of the media. At the moment (and this year) our most successful sportsman.

Indeed, but I'd say cycling is far more physically strenuous and the fact that he's the first green jersey winner from these shores makes him have the better year.

    Who are you anyway? :D

As for Farah, not trying to be controversial here but despite representing us with pride he's Somalian and lives in the U.S. Isn't he a bit ambiguous nationality wise? Apologies if this is controversial.

Good point, I actually think he will struggle without Renshaw as well.

Still Cav' for me...some of the most breathtaking victories by our sportsmen this year without a doubt. As I say, it's the kudos he gets for his (for these shores) rare achievements that see him above the rest for me. Your point about sprinting is valid but it's still a massive part of the game and a high accolade.

That's cool then I wasn't aware. I think he relocated to the U.S recently, I may be wrong. Certainly an incredible athlete across different distances as well.
