How good was he on his best day?

When was his prime? And what was he like as a fighter in his prime?

    Notable wins?

Did he go as far as he could of done?

What is he up to these days?

Byrd was an Olympian at 165, but decided to be a heavyweight as a pro. Slick southpaw.
Looked flawless beating David Tua. Got pounded by Wlad twice, was getting pounded by Vitali until Vit's injury. Also got flattened by Ike Igiabuchi (spelling, you know who I mean...) in the 4th. (or 5th?)
Byrd was good defensively, not a puncher at all. Not even much of a mover, he used a lot of upper body movement to avoid punches. Obviously it didn't always work.
He tried going down in weight, got stopped by nobody much, and is now apparently finished as a fighter. Seems to be a bit of a Jesus freak.
Always seemed to be a good sport and a nice guy.

the only thing he lacked was power at HW, but being a former middleweight, that's not a surprise, other than that he was a very slick fighter, knew how to avoid punches, got battered by both K bros, names he beat include Tua and Holyfield

Boxrec is the best way to evaluate and judge how good fighters are

Chris Byrd was a Middleweight from Flint, Michigan who fought at Heavyweight. Won a silver medal at the Barcelona Olympics. Was an average Heavyweight which goes to show you how weak this era of heavyweights is.

Highlight of his career is walking down Vitali Klitscko and stopping him.

Dont let the klit tards fool you. The scorecards were much wider then the actual fight occuring

Embarrassing. Be like Bernard Hopkins walking down Muhammad Ali and stopping him if you could imagine such a thing.

before any ****** mentions the Vitali win as some sort of big win, he was getting pounded and losing on the cards by a guy with no shoulder. Vitali quit because it was way too much pain, and could have ended his career.

Without the 3 beatings by the Klitschko brothers, Byrd's career is really solid.

Chris Byrd weighed what David Haye weighs at HW. Byrd weighed 211 lbs vs Vitali. How is that a MW?
