I have a copy in the general, Just thought since Green is fighting a copy should be in Aussie forum too. :good:

WBC world Crusierweight Champion Kryzstof Wlodarczyk will defend his crown against Danny Green of Australia, The former IBO champion, Green lost his crown to the faded Antonio Tarver in July. Green got flattened in round 2, ( looked just like Tarver-RJJ 2. ) managed to get up unlike RJJ ( Because the shot was less powerful ) and fought until Round 8, Green got hurt in that round, Tarver started to flurry him ( Slowly  ) and when Green was at the point of 1 more minute and he was done, Green stumbled to the wrong corner, Causing Greens corner to stop the fight, Awarding Tarver a W RTD 9. ( Corner Retirement before round 9 ). So it question what the hard hitting entertainer ( Green ) has left, But Wlod hasn't been good lately either, Much personal troubles, He won his last two bouts against average fighters Jason Robinson and Francisco Palacios closely, Unimpressively, and most of all, Shown his hunger is likely gone. His last good fight was an impressive TKO 8 of Giacobbe Fragomeni in his rematch with him ( First was a Draw ).

So the question is, What do they both have left to give us?

    Kryzstof Wlodarczyk ( 45-2-1 ):

Basics: Wlodarczyk was at one point defeating Cunningham on pts ( Closely 1-1-0 with him ) and stopping Giacobbe Fragomeni in Round 8 but his last 2 fights with Jason Robinson and Fransisco Palacios left us with questions, Is his hunger gone? He is in my opinion, Facing the 2-3 hardest opponent of his career, ( Behind Cunningham and maybe Fragomeni ) so if he isn't hungry, Focused, and steps up his punch output, This fight is already won for Green. Wlod at one point was a powerful, Dangerous, and tricky fighter, Now he is barley beating Jason Robinson, So he needs to prove a lot.

Power: 7 out of 10. Great KO's to Alexander and Fragomeni but sometimes it isn't there. All depends.

Resume: KO to D. Alexander. TKO to Giacobbe Fragomeni. Draw with Frago and 2 close bouts with USS Cunningham.

    Style: Orthodox

    Ranking: Top 5-7 Crusierweight.

    --------------------------------

    Danny Green ( 31-4-0 ):

Basics: Danny Green Former IBO crusierweight champion started his PRO career at Super Middleweight, Where he bet Erik Lucas and lost a tight decision to Markus Beyer, This is when Green hit the scene. At Light heavyweight he stopped Otis Griffin impressively in round 3 and UD'd Stripe Drews. At Crusierweight he got impressive 1 round KO's to shot RJJ and Paul Briggs, Also a KO 3 to Manny Siaca. After all the damage he has done many were shocked to see a supposedly shot 43 year old Antonio Tarver would be the one to stop to hard hitting beast. Well he was. RJJ 2 style flooring Green in round 2 up to stopping Green in Round 8. Green is looking to get his long career back on track at age 38. Can he do it?

Resume: Good. Tarver and RJJ ( Shot ) Markus Beyer, Otis Griffin, Manny Siaca.

Power: 8 out of 10, Very powerful.

    Ranking: Top 10-12

Style: Orthodox, Not some wild brawler but he is powerful.

    ------------------------------------

It takes a lot of thinking to call this fight. At first I thought Wlod but... I will put myself out on a limb and say Danny Green UD 12. We will see though!

My only nitpicks would be with "he got impressive 1 round KO's to shot RJJ and Paul Briggs" (both farces), and it didn't surprise me one bit that Tarver schooled him. In fact, I called it from the moment they signed on.

Otherwise, another good breakdown as usual from SS. :good

You actually rank Green's power higher than Wlod's?? No way that is true
Also by writing "top 10-12" I hope you're thinking about CW not p4p
finally..."At Crusierweight he got impressive 1 round KO's to shot RJJ "
I can't stand people making such a big deal of knocking out past prime RJJ in division in which he never had any success in...

    ohh and it is KRZYSZTOF;P

Danny Green got schooled by an old Tarver because hes simply not that good. Impressive first round KOs of Briggs, RJJ, don't make me laugh

To be air I do like Green and he does come to fight, havent seen much of Krysztof apart from Cunningham. Just hope its a good scrap!

If Wlod turns up in form its all over for Danny Green........ The Tarver stoppage will be playing on his mind no doubt, the size difference in this fight is also a concern to Green....... of course Wlod needs to preform at his best or near to

at CW Dannys punching power cant really be rated, who has he knocked out at CW? id rate the POLEs power much higher than Dannys, all in all good write up.

Whatever the outcome of tonight's fight, Green's shown balls by taking on this bloke so soon after he got his arse handed to him by Tarver.

Yes, especially when it comes to the 8/10 power rating. Not so sure about that. He may have been 8/10 at 168 but not at CW. With that said, I think Danny wins a decision as he will simply outwork Wlod...a fighter with a style that is generally not highly regarded by judges outside of Eastern Europe.

I don't like Green but that's a fair point.................. unless of course this is another Stipe Drews fiasco

The odds for the Pole have shortened

Maybe, But Wlod looked horrible in his last 2 bouts. If this was the Wlod who stopped Frago I'd say Wlodarczyk KO 9

Well I was just looking to highlight his Crusierweight bouts, They were good KO's but I understand RJJ was shot ( For a decade... ) at the time and Paul Briggs who? but they were just some Crusierweight highlights.

I am not Polish, I don't know where all the Z's Y's and K's go, lol. And I made the mistake of judging his power from his KOs at Light Heavy and SMW so maybe I am overrating it a little, We will see once he gets more experience at crusier.
Wlod looked great verses Cunningham and Fragomeni but he looked horrible in his last 3, Refer to the comments I left to IB about Briggs and RJJ.

I see what u mean, His power may or may not be good there, We will see.

IF Green sidesteps Wlods plod forward style, he'll have a very easy night. Wlods left hook is very dangerous, especially in close.
