On the issue of Wlad holding and leaning on his opponents:

See you learn something new every day here on this forum.

I was under the impression that Wlad was very clever with his holding. I figured he's a great outside fighter with all the advantages when boxing from range. He has little inside game to speak of, so when his opponent does manage to get up close he ties them up to neutralise their attack, waits to be split up by the ref and then goes back to his boxing on the outside. Smart tactic in my eyes.

I was also pretty sure I frequently saw him leaning his weight down on his opponent when they got up close, to tire them out.

Turns out I was wrong though. Thanks to cable addict for clearing this up for us,

    RIP FIGHTING WEIGHT

    expect the usual responses:

    ''David Haye is a fraud''
    ''Lennox Lewis is a fraud''
    ''You must be black''
    ''You must be racist''

Not nearly as bad but someone said Ibeabuchi was no better than Peter.

Of course, because they're both Nigerian heavyweights, they are exactly as good as each other.

Wlads octopus routine is nearly perfect. I swear I could see a third arm in there when he tied up Haye in the 12th :deal
