Why Margarito Beats Floyd

    A lot of fans ask the question: Why did Floyd blatantly DUCK Margarito?

    Here is the answer unbiasedly yours     :good

    1. What keeps Margarito at bay is elite offense (boom, boom, boom, punch3x)

    2. Pacquiao definitely showed that. Mosley did too. Paul Williams luckily had almost empty gas in the 12th round but miraculously sustained it before getting killed by Antonio.

    3. Cotto had that, but going into the latter rounds he saw his punches had not the "usual effect" it had in all his previous opponents....his heart gave in.

    4. Now let's go to Floyd Mayweather.

    5. Does he have the needed offense to keep Maragrito at Bay? NO. :smoke

    6. He knows even if he throws every punch he has in his arsenal, Margarito will be coming back and this will play bigtime in floyd's psyche and we will see his heart give in and falter.

    7. Now will his shoulder roll defense hold up and keep Antonio at bay? NO, since Margarito traps and wrestles you on the ropes throwing punches that definitely will hurt.

    8. In short Floyd's style of defense is NOT effective against mack-truck coming-in styled fighters who had iron chins.

    9. Now you ask me how did Floyd beat Mosley? Answer: Mosley is not exactly the mack-truck come-in styled fighter. This was proven against Pacquiao where he NEVER WANTED A GOOD SCRAP. Mosley is a boxing first fighter who looked stupid trying to mack-truck Cotto in the latter rounds when it really wasn't his style.

    Cotto, Margarito, and PAC retired Floyd...the truth.

    Just kidding

    If Cotto didn't live in Puerto Rico he would have gotton his azz whoop.

    If Margarito vs Floyd was to see who was the best than Margarito would have cotton his ass whoop also.

    If PAC would have taken OSDT than he would have been knocked out already.

    Answer: He has never been outboxed in his life...his defeats came from Mack-trucks like Pac and Antonio :smoke

    It would have been a great show if they met. Even the speed of Zab Judah who gave Floyd some problems early in their fight was totally neutralized against the boxer Cotto.

    And the power of Cotto....made Zab quit in his knees which Floyd could not even do power-wise :good

    As much as I am a floyd fan, he would not be able to stop mageritos constant pressure.

    I was a big Margarito fan and when he beat Cotto,I was sure he was the man to topple Floyd.Subsequent events have shown(at least to me) that I had that one badly wrong.
    He's too one dimensional to seriously trouble Floyd.

    Floyd wanted no part of toni. Even if mayweather won he would have recieved the worst beating of his career in the process.

    Once again the thread-starter is obsessed with Floyd. Pay attention to yourself. You look so stupid. As far as the fight goes, Margarito would look like Baldomir. For the record Arum never wanted Margarito or Cotto in the ring with Floyd. You would realize that if you weren't so in love with hating Mayweather.
