******* = Pacquiao brought countless new fans to boxing due to his exciting style and willingness to take on challenge after challenge. Many of these new fans knew nothing at all about boxing and never followed it - they were newbs drawn in by Pacquiao's historic run. Any total newbie won't have a high boxing IQ in the beginning and can at times seem ******ed, hence the name *******.

***** = These posters have an undying love for their hero Floyd and will defend every move their hero makes, no matter how racist, how disappointing, how big of a duck it looks like to the rest of the boxing community, Floyd can do no wrong, not only that but they hang on his every word. It is Bible. No amount of reasoning can come between them and their man. To rationalize every move Floyd makes in spite of reason is an emotional love that seems kinda homo, hence the name *****.

These names developed over time organically over hundreds of thousands of posts across hundreds of message boards.

wtf are you talking about. He made it very simple.
Even in the ESPN article, they give hints as in "little fellow" "biggest fight possible"
Then on the same day Floyd goes on 106 and Park and says he wants to have Pacquiao take the test specifically.
And Ellerbe talks about Pacquiao in an interview right before ESPN releases the information about the MGM Grand

If this isn't clear enough, then you just aren't trying

    He's SPEAKING IN ****ING CODE

Why can't he just say "Manny Pacquiao on May 5th at MGM" all in one sentence??

    IN ONE SENTENCE?

Wouldn' you as a Floyd fan Love it if he said it STRAIGHT UP instead of bullshitting with hints of 'Little Fellow"? I mean wtf is that?

Why is he avoiding saying MANNY PACQUIAO's name? Instead of playing stupid games that no-one cares about.

    jeez leweez.

Why couldn't Pacquiao ever say "I agree to full random blood and urine tests all the way up until the fight?"
When he says **** like "Testing is no longer an issue" is that code?

man this **** is truly pathetic

    http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/7184086/floyd-mayweather-jr-wants-make-biggest-fight-possible-5

"Floyd made it very clear that he wants to give the fans the biggest fights that are out there. He wants to stay active," Ellerbe said. "We're going to do everything in our power to make the biggest fight out there for the fans and we all know what the fight is."

"We had a discussion, Floyd, me and Al," Ellerbe said. "Floyd made it very clear to us what he wanted to do. He told us he is looking to make the biggest fight that is out there and to make it in May."

And Ellerbe referred to a fight with Pacquiao as the biggest fight out there in the FightHype interview the same day

no one needs a ****ing excuse. pacquiao was evidently slipping in his last 3 fights. he hit the top in the cotto fight, where he was fast, relentless and accurate. a boxer with pac's style is bound not to last long in boxing and i'm surprised that he is still elite at 17 years of ring age with several wars.
