id say retire, move into promotion and training up and comers after a bit of time out of the public eye, continue working on his brand name and equity.
he could probably still be competitive at LHW and make a good buck or two there. Whether he'll be a champ though I highly doubt.
he has already stated he wont fight at LHW again, its to detrimental to his health haha! karnt dont wanna diet and loose the weight!
IMO, there's no shame losing to a WBC champ. However, had he not been bragging when he beat has-beens & standing in Subiaco Park with belts hanging over his shoulder & shaking every bypassing backpacker's hand for the sake of TV coverage, some if not most would no doubt see things different
He lost twice by KO and today's one was quite brutal. He isn't that young anymore. There is no shame in losing to WBC champ but continuing to fight and getting KO but some nonames around the world would be...no need for him to risk his health better retire as Australia's beloved hero and don't make his fans watch as he fades. I'm a big fan of RJJ and I know how it feels to see that Besides...didn't he said he retires after the fight? If so then we have nothing to wonder about
Normal people recognise it for what it is, pufferry. The imbeciles who can't are the same obese, diabetic ****s who believe that Coke is Happiness. How did you want him to sell his product?
Retire. He should be pretty stable financially. Certainly could handle a media role. Hopefully Mundine will be put into retirement soon. I won't miss the circus. If Aussie boxing can't survive on it's own merits then so be it. But I think it will be ok.
My feelings are known that i don't like Green............ however. i believe he did himself proud in defeat, even though he did complain he was winning after 10rd
Retirement I reckon , enjoy your family, good health and wealth( in that order )and thanks for the fights .:good
