This guy is smarter than I thought. I think I let his out of the ring anitcs cloud my judgement on his actual ring IQ. It'd be nice to see him hanging around the Mayweather's more often and have them rub off on him

I feel he is overrated by mayweather fans who seem to love him, russel jr. looks more talented imo, be he isnt as flashy.
Still broner is a good fighter, allthough he should avoid trying to be mayweather so much because he gets hit to much.
But he is still green so plenty of time to improve, I hope we see him fight gamboa, lopez, mikey garcia, donaire, rios, uchiyama or russel jr next year.

I definitely agree with this. His Mayweather jacked style will only take him so far. FMJ has his own style mastered. Russell Jr. is the dude I have really high hopes for.

yeah I know where you coming from. Floyd got hit more often at 130, but he was more offensive then also. His defence was still better regardless though

Good to know what's going on his head in the ring, but the amount of spelling errors in that interview were hard not to cringe at.

thats not likely. in all likely hood its canelo and broner or russel.
those three at one point will have to fight and since we all know how fickle the media and most boxing fans are, as soon as they lose there zero they will find a new fighter with an 0 and these guys will be foegotten, called bums, hype jobs ect ect...

Russel's small, doubt he'll even make it to lightweight and if he ever moves up to 130 it'll be after Broner's already at lightweight since Russel isn't even at contender level yet at 126. Gamboa's going lightweight next fight and has ambitions of fighting at 140, by the time Broner's a bonafide lightweight Gamboa will most likely be up to 140.

Who has this guy fought to think he is great he got the gift from the judge's on from the ponce deleon fight last fight he fought a C level fighter and if the guy would of had a little power he would have most likely knock him out, like I have said before they better keep on matching him up with the right fighters because he is a real easy KO waiting to happen...

I don't have strong feelings about this guy either way, he's still at a "wait-and-see" stage to me. But the kid's a champ now, time to start putting him in there with the other champs!

eh i dnt see broner moving up unless he is strugglingg with weight. he doesnt hhave the puunch imo so i think russel will be a champ very soon and broner will probably lose very soon.
as for gamboa i dnt see him being a star unless he makes a big jump in weight kuz dude isnt marketable. he has a great style but he doesnt have a great personality
