Am I the only one sceptical about Floyd suddenly finding his urge again?

Pac have looked human in both of his last fights, and the snake pit that is his camp is about to consume itself. Floyd puts on a show and the next thing you know there are *****s parading all over the place.

I might be just imagining things here, but have Floyd not been a bit more eager to get the fight on since Pac started to show signs of slowing down? Yesterday it was "my health comes first" and today it is "boxing is what I live and die for"?

    :huh

Well its too bad he doesnt agree with u or else he wouldn't have been hiding out in his mansion the past 2 years.

  5. Nope. I knew the rumblings would be epic after that Marquez fight. Still, we'll see if it actually materializes. During the ring entrances I'll still be nervous about the fight actually taking place.

The May 5th talk and booking the MGM for "The little guy" all happened just before the Marquez fight.

Also Pacquiao fans were claiming on here that he won more comfortably against Mosley than Mayweather did so I'm not sure why that fight should make a difference either.

The problem people have is they've built Mayweather up to be frightened of Pacquiao, the same as they built him up to be frightened of Mosley yet when he comes out and says he wants the fight it must be because his opponent has deteriorated.

    People just hate.

These are simple ******* excuses. It truly is pathetic how the same people who from the beginning were claiming Pac would destroy Floyd, now are scurrying to grasp at any possible reason to discredit a Floyd victory. Pac is still the same bilipino who destroyed Hatton, Cotto, and Margarito. It's just that you *******s are just now realizing what the rest of us already knew, which is the fact that he isn't some unbeatable demi-god.

The reason Floyd seems more enthusiastic now, is because he knows the time is right to make the most money out of this mega fight. He also knows he has the upper hand and can dictate more aspects of the contract at this point. The point is Floyd beats Pac at any point in his career, and if Arum finally decides to cash out on Pac, everyone will witness a boring one sided victory for Floyd.

    This post makes little sense.

    Pac is on the decline.

There is not more money to be made now compared to earlier.

    Floyd cant dictate more now.

But you are right about him seeming more into the whole idea.

Shut the **** up troll. You wouldn't even know who Hatton was if he didn't have Pac on his resume.

This post makes sense, by all mean.

What Pac fans says about Pac vs Mosely is irrelevant. The question is how Floyd percieved it.

Floyd is not a saint, and the demand for extra testing was a too convenient way out. Even his own communiy saw through it. But suddenly he recognize that there can be a cut off date?

Probably only those very close to the whole situation can tell for sure. I am just sceptical the way he suddenly gets the benefit of doubt for all his previous bullshitting.

Exactly. Everyone who knew boxing knew Pac wasn't as good as his cherry picking ass was trying to make it seem. The guy can't cut the ring can't fight on the inside doesn't go to the body head hunts is wild can't apply educated pressure can't jab can't fight backing up has poor defense is off balanced a **** ring IQ and one dimensional but is supposed to be the best fighter since Pea Whitaker because he has good stamina heart handspeed power and is sometimes exciting? Please. This guy is tailormade for technicians and will always lose to them he makes too many mistakes and is too limited.

If nothing has changed, why is there suddenly no obstacles?

Maybe but there's 2 obvious reasons for Floyd pushing it...

    1. Arum has always rushed Pac's next fight, not giving Mayweather much chance to ask to negotiate. (like asking him to make a decision straight after May-Mosley or agreeing the Marquez fight before Pac-Mosley took place). So this is the perfect opportunity to push it.

    2. Pac's NOW saying the tests aren't an issue.
